24.01.2022 Do you love Johnny Depp in "Fear and Loathing"? We do too! So much that we have the Ray-Ban 3138 Shooter Aviator in store! Very similar to the Ray-Ban 3030 Outdoorsman which we also stock, the Shooters have a little ring between the lenses, apparently this helps during hunting or shooting, hence the name Shooter. The glasses worn in the film are directly inspired / based on the glasses worn by author Hunter S. Thompson, who wrote the book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

19.01.2022 Anzac Day to me is a day we learn and learn again the horror of purposeless war. It is a day for looking after your mates, cherishing your home, your neighbourhood and family. It is a day for realising how rare and precious this wonderful country of ours is. That is what Anzac Day means to me and this evening as I sat by the Swan River and watched my little one play, I realised this. Wishing you all a very safe Anzac Day with your loved ones. Hold them a little closer and tighter tomorrow and remember those who have fought and died for our freedom.

We love the history and quality that comes with them so we thought we'd share some of this with you and hope you enjoy! Few sunglasses have occupied such a storied place in American culture and history as Ray Bans. From Presidents to movie stars, rock stars to artists, fashion designers to runway models, there's not a generation alive that can't remember owning (or wanting to own) a pair of these ico...nic sunglasses. Founded in 1937 by Bausch & Lomb, the first Ray Ban sunglasses were created for the U.S. Army Air Corp. The Army was looking for a sunglass to protect aviators from the damaging rays of the sun, but also a sunglass that would look elegant on the dashing airman of the day. Then came the Wayfarer..... Ironically, the original Wayfarers were intended to be marketed to men, until women fell in love with the sleek, shiny design that seemed to flatter any shape of face. Soon the sunglasses began to turn up on everyone from Presidents and fashionable women to folk musicians and East Village Hipsters. Wayfarers were got a PR boost in when Audrey Hepburn's Holly Golightly practically lived in her Wayfarers in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's.
