14.01.2022 TO ALL OUR PATIENTS: Weve always considered our practice to be neat and clean. In fact we pride ourselves on it. A lot of the sanitizing we do happens behind the scenes, and before and after each consultation. Due to current health concerns please dont be surprised to see more of this cleaning occurring whilst you are visiting us. WHAT CAN YOU DO?... Besides the recommendation of regular hand washing, we are asking if you have a fever or flu-like symptoms, or recent international travel, please let us know and postpone your appointment a few weeks. We will still be here to look after you then, and the patients who visit us in the interim, as well as our staff, will appreciate your thoughtfulness. We are asking patients to wash their hands on site with the optometrist prior to being seen and also before and after handling spectacle frames. We have removed magazines and childrens toys from waiting room areas and are leaving our front door open to save patients from having to touch door handles. We are also trying to see just one patient at a time to reduce the risk of cross contamination. We believe that our optometry practice will be one of the safest places to visit over this time if we all take some simple extra care. Thankyou for your support over this time.
