Within a short interaction, I must rapidly establish connection through humour, openness and a belief that the person I am photographing can actually enjoy the process and the outcome. The reward is the surprise on peoples faces when they feel good about an image we have made together. 07.01.2022 Having cut my teeth shooting flowers and plants before I trained as a commercial photographer, it's great to have found work shooting plants commercially. I was the major contributor to Sophie’s award-winning garden book as well as being taken on some magnificent remote field trips with the botanic gardens. The top image was a garden bed we built in a park.
