19.01.2022 Students complete a level test in English when they have completed all 30 booklets of one level. This test is the accumulation of literacy concepts such as: spelling, subject and predicate, use of apostrophes for possession or contraction, comprehension of a passage and a graphic organiser to be able to sort the students thoughts logically. 13.01.2022 We are excited to announce the Eye Level Math Olympiad (ELMO) is coming to Randwick, NSW Saturday 14th November 2020! ELMO is an annual maths contest that began in 2004, with over 38,000 students from 15 countries participating. It is designed to challenge students’ math skills in a variety of areas, such as operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis, reasoning and problem solving. The Olympiad is open to all students (Eye Level Members or non-members) and aim...s to promote mathematical skills of students of all levels around the world. Some of the benefits of participating in ELMO include: To determine your child's international level. To determine their improvement so far. To determine areas in math they need to improve on. To experience competing at an international level. ELMO will be conducted at the Eye Level Learning Centre in Randwick. The centre is a stress free environment with friendly Eye Level teachers managing the event. Each student will complete a test based on their school grade. ELMO is open to all students including those not enrolled at Eye Level so feel free to encourage your friends to participate. Each needs to register to secure their place as numbers are limited for each session on Saturday, 14 November 2020 between 10:00am to 2:00 pm.
