As optometrists, we see patients with Diabetic retinopathy, a complication of diabetes where the tiny blood vessels in the retina at the back of the eye become damaged. Diabetic retinopathy can seriously affect vision and in some cases may even cause blindness. Today on World Diabetes Day, we pay tribute to the fabulous Nurses both here and around the world for all that they are and all that they do. We Thank you !!!

17.01.2022 Our nature shot for the month. While it may look like a painting, This image is what's known as the "Eye of the Sahara" It is an eroded dome, 40 kilometres (25 mi) in diameter, exposing sedimentary rock in layers which appear as concentric rings. Found in the Sahara's Adrar Plateau.

The competition was spread out over several months due to Covid-19 restrictions and he won through to last Saturdays final with several hard fought close matches leading up to the big day.
