While media and current commentary continue to raise concern, we are fortunate that the risk of transmission in Western Australia, at this point, remains low.... This being said, we trust that a responsible community response, in line with preventative measures put in place by authorities, should assist in curbing the severity of the outbreak. As has always been the case, your eye health & well-being, and that of our team members, remain our highest priority. We take great care to maintain the highest standards of clinical practice, and have taken additional measures to make our protocols even more rigorous. In accordance with Australian Optometry Association guidelines we request the following criteria be met prior to attending the practice for an appointment: (1) No international travel(including transit through) to a country considered to pose a risk of coronavirus(COVID-19) within the last 14 days (2) Not experiencing any flu or cold like symptoms, these can include fever, a cough, sore throat, tiredness, and shortness of breath. (3) Not been in contact with any persons who have been diagnosed, or suspected of having coronavirus, in the past 14 days.
