25.01.2022 Hey there Hope you are all well out there. Just a quick update on our trading hours. We are now open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am-3pm. We have an Optometrist available Tuesdays and Thursday for emergency consultations.

24.01.2022 If your glasses fog up when you wear a face mask then you need to watch this! YT: Jan Howell

16.01.2022 We have been inundated with phone calls with our patients looking for a solution to their glasses fogging up when wearing a face mask. Here a few tips that we have found to help: 1- Our lens cleaner has antifog which helps significantly 2-Fold up a tissue and place across nose under mask. A bit of tape helps to keep tissue in place 3- Try placing your glasses a little lower down on your nose. Stay Safe

10.01.2022 From Monday 10th August we will be reducing our hours due to stage 4 restrictions. Our hours for the next 6 weeks will be as follows: Mondays: Closed Tues-Thurs: 9am-5pm Fridays: Closed... 05.01.2022 Glasses and masks proving not to be a perfect match as you spectacle users will be very much aware of. We have been inundated with calls and patients popping in for advice to stop the fogging up issues. There are now multicoats available that are effective for 14 fog free hours!! Fantastic for healthcare workers, chef's or anyone working in a humid environment. Give us a call on 59778455 to set you up with some new fog free lenses.
