20.01.2022 Fawkner Highway Patrol are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Jacana earlier this week. Emergency services were called to the Western Ring Road near the Pascoe Vale Road overpass about 1.45pm on 19 November after two heavy vehicles collided. Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, has dash cam footage or any other information that could assist with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.



17.01.2022 An 87-year-old man was located at a property on Reynard Street just before 11pm. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 56-year-old Kurunjang man and a 45-year-old Morwell woman were arrested at the scene. The pair remain in police custody and the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.
