The last Long Weekend Road Policing Operation on Australia Day saw several motorists intercepted by Horsham Highway Patrol and fines issued for extremely high speeds and poor road user behaviour. ... 1. A motorist in Kaniva was detected, travelling at 162 Km/h on the Western Highway (per attached photo) Driver was a Dandenong male who had purchased a new vehicle from S.A. and could not provide any reason as to the excessively high speed he was doing.

09.01.2022 Police from seven of the smallest communities in western Victoria have joined the effort to catch drivers who take to the road with drugs in their system. One of these rural police officers is Leading Senior Constable Craig Walker, who lives and works in the small town of Skipton.
