21.01.2022 Investigators do not believe the 48-year-old man was involved in the incident and police are not looking for anyone further in relation to the matter. Homicide Squad investigators have formed the preliminary view that the 42-year-old woman is responsible for all four deaths.

20.01.2022 Police are appealing from information following theft and deceptions in New Gisborne on 9 November. The victim's vehicle was broken into while parked at a private address in the early hours of the morning. A wallet containing credit cards were stolen from the vehicle and then used at various retailers in Sunbury and Gisborne shortly after. Police believe the male pictured may be able to assist with their enquiries.... He can be described as a Caucasian male, 20-30 years old with a slim build and approximately 180cm. He is wearing a two-toned hooded jumper with a white motif, black Adidas track pants, grey baseball cap and a face mask. 19.01.2022 We are looking for witnesses to a crash on Barry Road Dallas this afternoon (near the rail tracks). Just after 3pm a truck and white Toyota Starlet collided. We are aware of a few witnesses that stopped to render assistance but may have left before speaking with police. Information has been received that a user of Facebook marketplace is advertising properties for lease that do not belong to them. This leads to concerns that potential victims may be asked to transfer money to an illegitimate source.... Please be careful when applying for properties through Facebook marketplace, and do further research before transferring any money to a private account. Most rentals have an agent and business attached.

Note to parents, these things are not toys. If something goes wrong while riding these bikes you will be held accountable. The owner of this bike is starting to realise how ‘expensive’ these bikes can be ... as it goes away on the back of a tow truck.

14.01.2022 Forgot to add to the earlier dirt bike post ... ‘we ain’t done yet’. One male is in custody and now realises you can’t outrun PolAir. We will allege the male evaded police, resisted arrest and engaged in conduct endangering persons. From the Crimes Act ... ‘A person who, without lawful excuse, recklessly engages in conduct that places or may place another person in danger of serious injury is guilty of an indictable offence. Penalty: Level 6 imprisonment (5 years maximum).’ Oh and ‘we still ain’t done yet’.

10.01.2022 Victoria Police’s Heavy Vehicle Unit members were shocked after intercepting a drink driver more than four times the legal alcohol limit in Campbellfield on Thursday. The driver, a 68-year-old Campbellfield man, was found to have a cancelled Victorian Driver’s Licence and returned a positive breath test with a reading of 0.201 His car was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1,042.

The passenger goes inside the store and buys a bottle of water, when he gets back he fills the car up with petrol while the driver stays in the car. 08.01.2022 The police Air Wing quickly responded and followed the car before observing it pull over on Golden Ash Court. With the assistance of the Dog Squad, officers on the ground arrested the trio who were allegedly hiding at a nearby property.

Penalty notices were issued for traffic offences including exceeding the speed limit by 35km/h, unlicensed driving and driving an unregistered vehicle. 04.01.2022 SCAM PHONE CALLS Local police have received several reports of a current trending phone scam. The call is of a voice recording claiming to be from the ATO. The voice recording tells the receiver that they have a current ATO debt, and if it is not paid they will be arrested and prosecuted. The call appears to come from a local police station (most recently Fawkner Police), however this is not the case. This may cause distress and confusion to the receiver if they check the p...hone number against a police station contact. Please note, local police have no involvement in ATO debts and arrests.
