11.01.2022 Two speedsters were detected within hours of each other this morning https://bit.ly/2KEgcrE A 25-year-old man was caught travelling at allegedly 132km/h in an 80km/h zone on Westall St, Clayton South. A 21-year-old driver was caught travelling on the Mornington Peninsula Freeway at 142km/h in a 100km/h zone. He then allegedly returned an evidentiary breath test reading of .145....

The Holden Commodore was the mainstay in the fleet for Victoria's Highway Patrols over the last 40 years but has now handed over the torch to BMW. 05.01.2022 Clayton Police members are investigating a theft and obtain property by deception that occurred on 15/01/21 & 29/01/21. The offenders distracted an elderly lady and took her handbag. The same offenders (pictured below) have then used the victims cards to make multiple purchases totalling $1150. 03.01.2022 On 26th November 2020, prior to filling up fuel to the police vehicle at end of the shift, the Oakleigh night shift patrol unit observed a young male driver who held a suspended learner permit with 4 passengers and were on their way to a farm north of Melbourne. The vehicle was subsequently impounded for 30 days and the driver will face the magistrate to explain why he was still driving knowing he was not allowed to.
