25.01.2022 I had a great job in the heart of Bacchus Marsh to finish off the great work of the owners and add the final touch of Santa Ana Couch. Sandy loam spread, rolled, levelled and rolled again. 120m2 of turf laid, rolled and top dressed. The turf will be ready for the Christmas festivities.

25.01.2022 I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year. Personally I want to thank all of my clients for getting onboard with Eynesbury Lawn Care. The support I have had this year has been awesome and I am very grateful for that. I am very fortunate to meet a lot of local people doing my job and I can honestly say the people that live here make Eynesbury the brilliant community it is. I am taking a small break with the family and will be back working on the 6th o...f January. I am looking forward to what 2020 may bring and cant wait to get stuck into it. My wife made me post that picture!!! Thankyou again!

25.01.2022 Another enjoyable day spent with great clients giving the yard a little pre-spring makeover. Brilliant selection of new plants made by the client will ensure a low maintenance, colourful growing season ahead!

24.01.2022 Just a couple of quick shots of some landscaping completed recently. The stepping pavers really compliment the curb edging. Great combination chosen by the owners. It's very humbling to have such great support within the community. If I can be of any assistance, please send me a message or call me on 0475 429 311.

23.01.2022 With the delayed seasons again this year it feels like the start of Spring and not four days out from Summer . With nice rain around this week and again on the weekend we will see a growth spurt in your garden. This may be good for you or a headache, depending on your time available. If you want me to take care of the problem, please contact me for a free quote. I am very grateful for the local support and really enjoy the people I meet within the community. ... Thank you and have a great night.

23.01.2022 Hello everyone. Initially we were hoping for a resumption of business this week but due to the extension of stage 4 we will hopefully start operating from the 28th of September. Once we get the green light to start operating again, we will be working 7 days a week to get your yards and businesses looking awesome. Recent rains are setting us up for a great growing season ahead and I look forward to assisting you with your garden needs.... Thank you for all the local support it means so much. Take care

23.01.2022 Sod installation day. My favorite turf to lay its going to come up a treat and look forward to revealing the end.

21.01.2022 Hello everyone, I have not posted for sometime now as I have had an amazing response from our community. Whether that is a small clean up job, a renovation of the yard or a trim and mow, the local support has been awesome. The referrals I have been receiving have been greatly appreciated. So just a quick note to say that I have a few spots available. If I can help you or someone you know, please contact me for a free quote. Thanks for your time.

17.01.2022 Thanks Damien. Local support in tough times will keep small business alive. Really appreciate the work.

17.01.2022 38 degree heat, moving loose stones was a huge day. Thanks to my hard working assistant we achieved a great transformation. Again, its a pleasure to work with great owners. Two days of preparation had us ready for the third and final day of laying the turf. The greatest challenge was having an irrigation design for a very low water pressure system. With thanks to Reece Plumbing in Sunshine the result was achievable. If you would like to discuss your options regarding a lawn that will suit your lifestyle please get in touch with no obligations.

17.01.2022 I have attached some photo's of a recent job I completed in Stage 1. The owners spend a lot of time in the garden, which is obvious to see. All I had to do was replace the small timber edges with a rustic steel edge. This alone complimented what was already there. Next, we put out some fresh sandy loam and rolled out the Santa Ana Couch. With so many curves and not one straight edge, I couldn't be happier with the result. Moving the soil was made easy with the amazing help fr...om grandson Kai and my own daughter Lexi. Many hands make light work (or so they say)! Eynesbury sure is a beautiful township.

15.01.2022 Hi Everyone, any locals on my page knowing anyone needing their garden or lawns done i am more than happy for you to share my flyer. Thank-you

15.01.2022 Just a heads up, if anyone is planning on going to the tip today, dont! I have just been turned away due to an accident. Advised that they are closed and may reopen later today but will be open tomorrow as normal.

15.01.2022 Allow your lawns to breathe a little and give them the greatest chance to prosper in the growing season. If you need some assistance, more than happy to give you a free quote. Below is a clean up job completed last week. The Santa Ana couch now has a chance to thrive! Weeds pulled and broadleaf spray applied

14.01.2022 What an opportunity given to me by great people within Eynesbury. Their two beautiful, and big rottweilers will love the new lawn area. If you have been thinking of changing the outlook from your back door, please get in contact with me to discuss your options. The turf chosen is critical to achieve longer lasting, amazing lawns. #eynesburylawncare #eynesbury #turflaying #eynesburylife

13.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. Recent announcements made today have confirmed we will be back working tomorrow. Conditions of work will be the same as they were during stage 3 restrictions, wearing a facemask, using sanitizer before and after each job and maintaining a safe distance. I really appreciate the support I have received during this time.... If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Stay safe and hope to see you soon.

12.01.2022 INTERESTING FACT! After all the recent thunderstorms we have had, I thought I would share some interesting info with you. Every thunderstorm we have is like a massive sprinkling of Nitrogen fertilizer from the sky. The lightning is strong enough to break bonds of the nitrogen molecule, to basically turn the nitrogen gas into a use able form of nitrate that all plants can then take in and use.... Over the next few days you will see this everywhere you look, trees, plants, grass and unfortunately weeds. Nitrogen is a macro nutrient and served up naturally through a thunderstorm is a free, beautiful force. How awesome is mother nature!!

12.01.2022 Had a great day on Saturday laying 120m2 of high quality Santa Ana couch sods. As you can see in the last photo, I always like to top dress outside edges and joins with sand to further protect the turf and assist in the establishment phase. If anyone would like more information, please dont hesitate to get in touch with me.

12.01.2022 Gday everyone, with regret I thought I should write and inform all my clients that as of midnight Wednesday, I will not be able to work for the COVID shutdown period, hopefully only 6 weeks. I will be contacting all clients personally over the next few days. My business has been gaining great momentum with the awesome help of this community. A lot of my work is through word of mouth referrals, and for this I am extremely thankful.... I can ensure everyone that Eynesbury Lawn Care will be operating whenever we are allowed to. If your lawn or yard gets a bit fuzzy/weedy during the lockdown period, rest assured, once we get the green light, I will have it back in great shape for you. Lets make sure these sacrifices we are all making can get us into a position of "normal life" soon. If you have any issues or questions I can possibly assist with online, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Stay healthy and positive during this challenging time. Look forward to catching up with you, with or without a mask on soon!!

11.01.2022 It really feels like a long Winter this year already. The positive news is, we are beyond the shortest day of the year!! Below are some areas that have been cleared and readied for paving to go in. If you require some friendly, local help in the garden and demand great results, send me a message or contact me on 0475 429 311.

11.01.2022 The last day of Winter!! Today is, no doubt one of the great days of the year. We have already seen a small change in the weather with warmer night time temperature. Spring in Victoria is an awesome time of year. Lets hope restrictions ease soon and we can enjoy our Spring time gardens with at least a few friends and family. I hope everyone is staying healthy and getting through this challenging time.... Our new little Jack Russell puppy, Bingo, has been a wonderful addition to spend lock down with. She has only experienced life at our house with everyone home so I think normality for her will be hard with a little separation anxiety. I have been spending the time servicing all my machinery in readiness for the season ahead. Days have consisted of assisting my wife to home school (how hard is this and my hat goes off to all mums/dads that have been doing this since March), refereeing sibling rivalries, completing my own studies, staying fit/active and training the puppy. I am more than ready to get back out and help you with your needs. I will be contacting all my regulars as soon as we have confirmation of a road map out of stage 4 lockdown. If you have any questions about your turf, please get in touch with me. Stay positive and take care.

09.01.2022 How good is summer rain? With more rain forecast on Saturday our gardens are looking nice and green. The rapid growth of your grass can be put down to the very hot, humid conditions we have been having. When you throw in some beautiful thunderstorms and heavy rain your warm season grass now has perfect growing conditions. The humidity also creates perfect conditions for fungus in the shape of mushrooms/toadstools. Do not stress about the new lawn feature as a lot of the time..., this is a sign of healthy turf. If I can assist in anyway with your lawn and garden please get in contact with me. Have an awesome afternoon.

09.01.2022 Spring is well and truly in the air now, its growing season!! Perfect time to get your lawn in tip top shape ready to enjoy for the warmer months. Dont go fighting the lawn, just give me a shout ill pop over to give you a free quote! Have a super weekend in this sunshine, you'll see me buzzing about the town fighting the lawn for my wonderful customers I am very gateful to have :-) ... #eynesburylawncare

09.01.2022 Happy New Year to you and your family. After a little family holiday we are roaring into the new decade. Eynesbury Lawn Care is a fully insured, work safe registered business. Please dont hesitate to get in touch with me if you need a hand to stay on top of the gardening or we might be able to assist in improving what you already have.... Have an awesome 2020!

08.01.2022 The cooler months are a great time to safely give your hedge a good haircut and have it looking sharp. A regular trim to any hedge assists in healthy regrowth and greater ease in shaping it to where you prefer it to be. If I can be of any assistance please make contact with me.

08.01.2022 Gday and happy new year to everyone in the Eynesbury community. If you require a local to assist with your lawn maintenance or an extra hand in the garden, please contact me for a free quote.

08.01.2022 ***update on the sod installation*** All joins & edges have been top dressed, first application of sesol applied, fertilizing program has begun & the process continues.

07.01.2022 Hello everyone. What challenging times they are right now! I really just wanted to touch base with the community to let you all know some measures and precautions I am taking in accordance with Government advice. I am fortunate that I work by myself and can continue working for the short term, albeit until we are advised otherwise. It certainly isnt business as usual! My promises to you are listed below: I will not come within two metres of you or any member of your family.... I am using hand sanitizer before and after each job I do I promise to continue to treat your home with the upmost respect it deserves and continue to deliver great results. I have had some incredible conversations with my regular clients and I am so grateful for all the support right now, given the current climate. Thankyou. If you know anyone in the community, or it may be you, that is working at the frontline (any hospital staff, police etc) to keep us as healthy as possible, please contact me directly or contact me on their behalf as I would like to help them out with the garden. It might be one less thing for them to worry about right now. This is not a plea for paid work but merely a goodwill gesture to help our heroes out. In these challenging times I want my clients to rest assured that if your household budgets are tightened, for whatever reason, we can work something out together. We are coming into the cooler months so all the warm season grasses will slow down their growth. The weeds wont, but I can certainly take care of them for you. Thank you for taking the time to read this message from me.

06.01.2022 Gday everyone. What a blast of cold weather we are having. This has a great effect on our turf. You will have already noticed a major slowdown of growth of your c4 grass (couch, kikuyu, buffalo). When daytime temperatures are below 25 degrees and night time temps plummet below 10 degrees, dormancy in the c4 grasses begins. The greatest thing you can do right now is fertilize your grass so it will come out of dormancy with all the required macro nutrients it needs to thrive. U...nfortunately with the cooler months comes the dreaded winter grass (Poa annua). This can be controlled or reduced mainly with the use of selective herbicides or pre emergent sprays. Winter grass is a prolific seeding grass and if left to grow and prosper it can have dramatic effects on your desired grass. It is a shallow rooted grass and can be easily pulled out by hand, if you have the time. If you need a hand with weed suppression or control or any other garden care needs please make contact with me. Stay safe everyone (Picture of Winter Grass)

06.01.2022 Gday all, Eynesbury Lawn Care will be aerating lawns again on Saturday the 7th of November. We are finally seeing some heat over the next few days which your warm season turf will respond great to and get the growth we always wait patiently for in Victoria. I do have a few spots available, so now is a great time to contact me to discuss how much benefit your turf will receive from great renovation practices. I am happy to discuss a program for you to get the most out of your... turf. Best method of contact is either a direct message through facebook or text/call me on 0475 429 311. Thank you for the continued local support, it is greatly appreciated.

05.01.2022 How good is Spring!! The perfect time for a makeover or just to start over. See the photos below that were taken last weekend for great clients in Eynesbury. From fescue to buffalo turf. Buffalo has been chosen due to having a higher shade tolerance over other warm season grasses. Buffalo makes a great ornamental surface. Buffalo is also more drought tolerant than cool season fescue. If you have any questions regarding your turf, I am only too happy to try and assist.

04.01.2022 Out with the sharp rocks and in with the shade tolerant Buffalo. A new comfortable space now exists for a growing young family. A big thank you to the owners for the opportunity. The result always makes the hard work in preparation worthwhile. The last two pictures are of a well needed short, back and sides cut to one of the many hedges I have trimmed this week.... #eynesbury #eynesburylife #eynesburyliving #eynesburylawncare

01.01.2022 Aeration has to be the simplest and most effective renovation anyone can include in their spring garden work. More oxygen can get into the soil. Grass roots can grow further into the ground creating a more drought tolerant lawn. Relieves compaction and otherwise hydrophobic areas. #eynesburylawncare #eynesbury
