25.01.2022 An apology: we had intended to email each of our Prep families today with individualised letters detailing your child's 2021 class placement and classroom teacher, in addition to your session allocation for Day 1 of Transition. Unfortunately we came across some significant IT issues and were unable to do so. We are hopeful that we will be able to complete the process tomorrow morning.

23.01.2022 We're incredibly excited to announce the appointment of Kylie Carter as Eynesbury Primary School's first Business Manager! Kylie is an exceptionally skilled and experienced Business Manager who has supported a number of schools, including most recently as the BM at St. Albans North Primary School. Kylie will start with us in Term 4 and will be an incredible asset to the school community and our students. Welcome Kylie!

20.01.2022 We had issues with this email communication (our apologies) so a timely reminder here regarding Year 1-6 Transition Activities and an Information Session for enrolled Year 1-6 families: Year 1-6 Transition: Transition for our future Year 1-6 students will take place on Tuesday, December 15 across the following times:... Year 1/2 9:00-10:30am Year 3/4 11:30am-1:00pm Year 5/6 2:00-3:30pm At these times, students will learn of their class placement and will be able to meet their 2021 classroom teacher and classmates. To fully participate in the day, please ensure that your child/children bring along a snack (Year 1/2 and 5/6 students) or lunch (Year 3/4 students), a non-glass water bottle and a hat. Students can attend in either their current school uniform or in casual attire. Year 1-6 Information Session: An information session covering school philosophy, programs, uniform and fees etc. will be held for Year 1-6 families via Zoom on Monday, December 14 at 6:00pm. All documentation referred to in this session will be provided in hardcopy via your child’s Eynesbury Primary School Reader Bag which will be distributed on the 15th. 18.01.2022 We are extraordinarily pleased to announce the appointment of Linh Nguyen as the school's first Assistant Principal. Linh has considerable experience as both a teacher and as a leader and brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to young people that will be invaluable to the school. Most recently, Linh worked as an Education Improvement Leader within the South-West Victoria Region (DET), working closely with school leadership and teacher teams to improve their practice to great effect. She will start her new role in Term 4 and is looking forward to working with the community.

18.01.2022 It's our pleasure to introduce our Education Support Team. Melanie will be instrumental in establishing our student wellbeing processes, whilst Cassandra, Indya and Kylie are all experienced education support professionals who are focused on the needs of the students they work with.

16.01.2022 Yesterday we had the opportunity to welcome Minister Merlino and Steve McGhie MP to our wonderful school. This is another important milestone in our development as we gear up to welcome students soon.

11.01.2022 This morning Melanie, our Student Wellbeing Coordinator launched the Eynesbury Primary School Breakfast Club. Breakfast Club will run each Tuesday and Thursday and will allow students to 'pick-up and go' fruit, milk and cereal.

06.01.2022 Our ‘Meet the Principal’ video providing an overview of our approach to developing Eynesbury Primary School is now online. For those of you who were unable to attend the information sessions we held in Term 3, a follow-up session will also be announced soon.

05.01.2022 A reminder that our uniform will be available in store from Monday, December 14. Our friends at PSW would like to encourage you to book in a fitting time at the Deer Park Store (2/51-53 Westwood Dr) by contacting them directly on 9768 0342.

04.01.2022 We sent out an update regarding transition and orientation today: Under Department of Education and Training guidelines, school transitions are currently restricted to 10 Prep students onsite at any one time. We have revised our Prep orientation schedule (attached image)to include 2 sessions per student. The first session will take place with our Assistant Principal Linh Nguyen, with students from each class being separated into two groups that will attend either a morning... or afternoon session. During this session, a parent will be invited to stay to meet with myself and begin the process of preparing for 2021. The second session will take place on a date to be advised. We are hopeful that this session will be able to take place as a whole class with their 2021 classroom teacher. While Year 1-6 Transition is presently not permitted, we have our fingers crossed that this will change after this Sunday's announcement by the Premier and will be in touch early next week with a concrete plan.

03.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who voted on our school logo! As you can see, the results were overwhelmingly in favour of option 1. We are moving really quickly on this - working on some tweaks to make sure it pairs well with our uniform and setting - and are hopeful that we'll be able to start using the logo soon.

So excited to meet Prep A tomorrow - we've been busy preparing the spaces and can't believe how great our Neighbourhood libraries look now that we're starting to fill them with books.
