05.01.2022 I left the NOSSA crew at Elliston yesterday with Shane Graves. While they were exploring Bascombe Well CP , I had a quick look around Cleve. Seems the leak and sun orchids are all go!

02.01.2022 NOSSA Visit - Day 2. Verran Tanks and Wharminda Soak

02.01.2022 After 6 weeks in WA at work of which 2 of those weeks were in quarantine, it has been good to wander in the scrub at home again. Today I checked a small patch of scrub near Gum Flat and was delighted to find Prasophyllum sp. Verran Tanks or Eastern Eyre Leek Orchid. I went a bit nuts with the camera as this is the first time I have seen this orchid. Approx. 20 plants found. A week or so earlier would have seen them at their best. A bit of veriation in the colour as well.
