17.01.2022 It kills how many people are walking along the beach with their large cappuccino in hand walking at turtle pace for an hour thinking that counts as good exercise. Hate to break it to you but youre probably consuming more calories than youre burning and that doesnt include the guilt free cupcakes you pumped before NOW BEFORE you start going all dont hate on people for just getting outside and moving I hear you... but hear me more MY TIPS TO GET THE MOST OUT OF ...YOUR WALKS: Tip #1 - mindfulness walking and nasal breathing Okay so you dont wanna be rigorous on the training for whatever reason, use this as an opportunity to focus on mindfulness and breathing! That starts practicing controlled NASAL breathing. Deep down into the diaphragm, nice and slow and smooth. Every breath in and out try and release abit of tension from your body, drop your shoulders, feel your weight in the ground more (youll be suprised how much stress energy you hold) Be more aware of surroundings, notice sounds, smells, sights, let all of your senses do their job! TIP #2 - POWERWALKING So instead of blasé strolling letting one leg flop in front of the other in some careless attempt at locomotion, up the pace, dig a little deeper and get a fast walk going for the entire time! TIP #3 -WALK AND JOG Now we are upping the spice factor a little, get a good jog going for a certain time you can maintain it for, maybe 1 minute? And then come back to a walk; repeat! TIP #4 - SPRINT WALK Best option!! Dig deep and push a 9-10/10 pace for as long as you can maintain, drop back to a walk or jog, repeat!! TRACKERS: Download a run/walk/cycle/movement tracker and get a baseline time for a distance and aim to improve that every time!! A lot of these have options to challenge friends or post your workouts, its a great way to get competitive and FLEX ON THESE MFers. You aint playin I really hope people read these captions, regardless I have a ball talking smack and keeping the info-lols ratio high Long story short, stop walking sloth mode, up your game, put more heart into it - because your worth it

05.01.2022 Talking about weight management with two simple Tips 1 set a movement alarm every hour 2 set a snacking penalty... Keeping your NEAT UP! During ISO. How do I burn more calories in a day outside of exercise? Scheduling a movement alarm every hour of the day to get up and do 500 steps around the house! (No more than 3 mins walking In an 8 hour window you could knock out an extra 4K steps! Reduce your snacking to 1 time a day max! Have a penalty based system every time you open the fridge or walk into the kitchen aimlessly - 20 star jump penalty! Some of my clients have done 200 a day as a result These tips alone will have a huge impact on daily productivity, mood, energy, stress management and as a result help you to stay More grounded and make better healthier decisions! #joinjorge

03.01.2022 MENTAL HYGIENE This video honestly covers some MAMMOTH topics; the main idea is stress regulation and understanding some simple ways to regulate the body during times of high anxiety/worry; we are all human and life throws some pretty unexpected things our way, how do you rise above them? Our cognitive abilitys/decision making/creativity/memory/mood/ digestion/hormones/life are extremely affected by an over-aroused and over stimulated Nervous system; When we are in a heigh...tened state of anxiety we make decisions and do things from a very REACTIVE mindset vs PRO-ACTIVE. The fight or flight response in the nervous system isnt designed to sit and weigh up options on a situation or help you work on that project youve been wanting to finish, its designed to get you the f*** out of danger i.e run fight freeze This results in poor judgments, clouded thought and overall decreased mental performance (which then had a knock on effect) NOW, some techniques I briefly touch on which deserve their own separate videos are: 1 Breathing/meditation/mindfulness practices This is essentially your bodies natural on and off switch for your nervous system, mastering this is the most important step to regulating central nervous system function and getting you grounded again. #2 Training of any stimulus (but not overtraining) -you know the drill, Getting active 30-45 mins a day -Boxing,Yoga, Weights, Bodyweight home workouts.running, cycling etc etc #3 BIOENERGETICS now this one is abit left of field and Im not gunna dive to deep into it.. but simply put: -Dancing and singing to your favourite song - Jumping/shaking/moving in any way OTHERS: - Reducing caffeine -Stayin hydrated -Increasing whole food intake exponentially - Getting in touch with nature often. -Reducing screen time - Having good sleep hygiene (sleep and wake same time every day, read before bed, switch off electronic devices) - Journal your thoughts/feelings daily
