12.01.2022 Another happy customer, love hearing reports like this from our customers! . . Repost from @thesipstir using @RepostRegramApp - Never thought that gold could taste taste so good... ... Instagram story posts, are a really good way that businesss post to get daily information out, and sucker people into buying products. Buncoffees story post definitely suckered me in on international coffee day. Posting that they had free samples of Nitro Cold-brew available is the equivalent for me of Homer Simpson and his love of donuts. Mmmmmmmm donuts (nitro). I did however have an agenda of checking out all the coffee gadgets that they have in their shop, as I have been trying to convince myself to get into the v60 / pour over world of coffee brewing. This is where I was introduced to this golden delight, The Frieling Coffee For One Filter. The device is made of only four parts: the 23 karat gold plated fine mesh filter, the brewing chamber, the water regulator, and the lid. All the plastic parts are BPA-Free. To use this hands-off brewer, simply add your coffee grounds to the filter, set the water regulator on top, fill the device with water, and top with the lid. The water regular distributes the water over the coffee evenly for you, eliminating the need for a specific pouring speed or technique. In less than three minutes youll have a balanced, delicious single mug of coffee. Once the regulator is empty, the brewing is complete. Seeing that this would be the most simple way for me to easy my way into the pour over world. I was easily convinced by @hun_bun_coffee and pick up one of these shining beauts and give it a shot. So far I have used it each day with an amazing single origin from Sydney roasters @single_o I have found that you want to be putting in around 20grams of coarsely ground coffee, much similar to what you would expect to have in a v60 or Chemex. I have been Pouring 40grams of 96c water over the coffee grounds, then letting it sit for about 30 seconds to let the coffee bloom and warm up the grounds. Then simply putting the water regulator in, filling it up with hot water and chucking the lid on. See more
