23.01.2022 Guacamole Hummus Heaven 2 avocados 400g can chickpeas, drained and rinsed 1 tablespoon tahini 2 tablespoons of green tobasco sauce ... 1 clove garlic, crushed 4 tablespoons lemon juice Sea salt and cracked black pepper 6 small wholemeal flatbreads, toasted store-bought dukkah, for sprinkling Extra virgin olive oil, to serve Lemon wedges, to serve Place the avocado, chickpeas, tahini, green tobasco sauce, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a food processor and process until smooth. Spoon the hummus onto flatbread or use it as a side sprinkle with the dukkah and drizzle with oil store left over in fridge Optional serve with a few eggs for added protein! Argh so good!

13.01.2022 Put really simply Exposure to our Australian UVA and UVB both can contribute to premature skin ageing, sunburn, melanoma and other skin cancers faster than a lo...t of other countries world-wide. UVA rays penetrates deeply into the skin causing genetic damage to cells, photo-ageing (wrinkles, blotchiness) and immune-suppression Whilst UVB rays are responsible for skin burning, which is a significant risk factor for skin cancer, especially melanoma. So how do I protect my clients and their skin while they are in the sun? I use Dermaviduals SPF, which provides protection from UVA and UVB rays. SPF 15 is perfect if you are exposed to the sun for a short period of time or if you work indoors mostly but also a general daily protection SPF 30 should be applied and used for any outdoor wind, snow and water reflection situations Since the thermal radiation of the sun is quite stressful for the skin it is recommended to expose the skin in moderation even with sunscreen, but also it is important to still expose your skin to increase your vitamin D levels for a short period of time vitamin D is one of those essential vitamins for so many things! Recommended UV radiation exposure to 15% of the body (face, arms, hands) between 12:00 and 3:00pm, to produce vitamin D levels equivalent to current recommended intakes in Australia means 10 15 minutes in total time, three to four times per week with no sunscreen. All you need is fresh kale (home grown or organic is best but kale is kale) is it? ... Tamari sauce Olive oil (I use garlic infused) Sesame Place the kale in a bowl, drizzle tamari and olive oil, and some sesame seeds DONT GO CRAZY as you will make them heavy and they will burn and get soggy! I havent put measurements because it can vary but just drizzle it only ! Place in oven for about 20 minutes on 150 degrees or until crispy! Its amazing ha ha for those dying for the recip...e here it is! #happysaturday Amaranth Puffs with cinnamon, seeds and nuts WHAT YOU WILL NEED 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 tsp almond essence cup (265g) raw honey (or sugar free maple syrup) cup (50g) coconut oil 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon 3 cups (60g) puffed amaranth or spelt 1 cups (210g) pumpkin seeds 1 cup (150g) pecans and 1/2 cup cashews cup (115g) linseeds cup (50g) LSA WHAT YOU NEED TO DO 1.Preheat oven to 180C. Place the vanilla, honey and coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally or until the mixture comes to the slight boil. Remove from the heat. 2.Add the cinnamon mix to combine. Place the puffed amaranth or spelt puffs, pumpkin seeds, pecans, cashews, linseed and LSA in a large bowl. 3.Pour over the honey mixture, and almond essence / mix to combine and spread evenly over 2 large baking trays lined with non-stick baking paper. Cook for 20 minutes or until crisp and golden. Set aside to cool, before breaking into shards. We want you to include lots of fresh vegetables (especially the green ones), protein per meal from a variety of sources such as meat, fish, eggs, nuts and seeds and sources of good fats from oily fish, chia seeds, walnuts, avocado, dark chocolate etc . . We would MOSTLY like you to avoid processed foods such as deep-fried fatty foods, sugary biscuits, cakes, lollies, milk chocolate, unhealthy takeaway, processed meats (make this a once in a while treat if you really need them in your life). . .
