25.01.2022 Blowing 45klms/hour today but what a beautiful place Travellers Rest Caravan Park at Midge Point North Qld. Spacious slab and grasses sites, walk straight onto the beach and good fishing without the wind apparently. Tavern and cafe/store close by with a very tidy village. Great spot to unwind.

21.01.2022 At the recent Brisbane Let’s Go Caravan and Outdoor Show I was blatantly attacked and accused of having no knowledge of camping and how tent pegs work?. It was hard to remain cool as this person was very pointed in his criticism, luckily I remained calm and slowly turned the talk to my experience. Firstly as a Boy Scout using the old pole and lashing tents, secondly the cadet force using army tents, then our own tents and tarps, a rear fold hard floor camper, a hybrid camper ...travelling all over Australia and now our second caravan having travelled over a great deal of Australia. Our Ezy Anchor pegs came from my experience as a jackaroo in Outback Qld and NSW as well as 23 years in the design and construction of marine infrastructure including piling from Darwin to Port Lincoln working with Geotechnical engineers and dealing with all types of rock and soil conditions. The Ezy Anchor pegs are the best available in the market for many reasons all learnt from this experience and knowledge.
