If you watch closely, when the line breaks the large mouth does not realize it and comes right back to the surface to spit out the lure, which gives Lee the chance to grab it by the mouth while pulling an "AquaMan". 05.01.2022 Awesome day today Started of with michael getting a little lizard on plastics,after a few hits on plastics we decided to tie on top water and within 5 or 6 cast I got flogged by a 60cm+ Trev and absolutely shit it. After about 10 or 15 more casts I pulled out my pb Trev of 45cm then got a 20 odd cm whiting and a few more hits. Walked up a bit further and pulled a pb surface whiting of 36cm and then a little whiting and dropping another Trev. It went a bit quite for a whil...e then Michael decided to jump onto a little Trev popper and also a bream on popper which was his first bream on a popper. I then decided to go under the bridge were We seen the trevs schooled up dropped 2 and got one about 30cm and next cast I got instantly bitten off by a 70cm+ Trev on my sugapen... bye bye sugapen and after that they spooked. I even managed to jag a mullet and pulled a 28cm whiting. Was a awesome day with the old faithful sugapens #gtcustomrods See more
