I had been going to the gym for years before F45 but nothing seem to change. And now at 38 I am healthier and fitter then I have ever been thanks to F45. 19.01.2022 Tuesday tips The plank This is a great exercise that regularly appears in our workouts.... Planks when done correctly focuses on our core strength as well as back and shoulders (secondary). It is an isometric exercise meaning we hold the muscle under tension. How to plank - Lay down on the floor with your elbows directly under your shoulders. Come up to either your knees or toes and draw your belly button in (engage core). Ensure your neck is straight - do not look up or try to look down your body Keep the shoulders square to the ground and weight evenly distributed between the elbows - this will help ensure the hips stay square. Back and glutes should be running parallel to the ground (a trainer or mirror can assist you here) Common mistakes when planking is poking the bum up it arching the back - this takes the tension away from the core and can cause injury. So be mindful! If you are still unsure grab a trainer for more guidance #f45byford

After the trial I joined up to partake in my first challenge, where I couldn't of been any more impressed with the results it had on me both physically and mentally. I felt so good about myself. Both the classes and the F45 team are fantastic, always there to support you and push you, with no class ever being the same. I absolutely love how much a 45 minute workout can punish you so much, if you go hard. "I have been doing F45 for almost 4 years now and I’m totally % in love with everything that F45 is offering. So 1000 classes might sounds like a huge achievement but it is so much more than that. From the very first day Ben , Kara and all the trainers were/ are supportive, caring, kick your @ss , understanding , funny, energetic and most of all family. It is not a gym , it part of of a community where everybody feels connected .
