18.01.2022 SET YOUR ROUTINE, FIND YOUR RHYTHM // Whether it's sunk in yet or not, 2021 is here and NOW (not late January ) is the time to get your routine and your rhythm back in check so you can start the year with a skip, hop and a jump!! Here are a couple of key tips to help you get going: 1. Never Miss a Monday - We harp on about this one for a reason! It seriously sets you up so well for the week ahead ... 2. 17.01.2022 FUN FACT FRIDAY // Going slow during the eccentric phase of a movement helps create stronger, leaner muscle a lot faster. The eccentric phase of a movement is the lower or lengthening part of a movement, for example in a shoulder press the eccentric phase is where the bar moves from overhead back to the chin. Going slower in what is essentially the "lightening of the load" generates more muscle fatigue as you have to rely on muscle control to move the load rather than good old gravity. In turn this enables you to squeeze more out of the movement and get even better results.

12.01.2022 GOAL SETTING // Hendo's goal is to have guns like Coach Mus, what's yours? When it comes to goal setting we want to think SMART... Specific - Be super specific about what you want to achieve and try to avoid generic terms like, "get fit" or "Be strong". Consider what being fit or strong would look, sound and feel like to you. Our definitions of these words vary person to person, so create your own meaning of the phrase ... Measurable - Add a numerical value (think rep or weight targets) or tangible outcome (think that dress in your closet you really want to wear again) to your goal so you'll know exactly when you've achieved it Achievable - Be conscious of your lifestyle and where you're at and set a goal that you know, with some hard work and dedication, is totally doable Realistic - Let's be honest, none of us are going to wake up millionaires with the perfect bod and not a care in the world Timely - Give your goal an end date for when you want to achieve it by so you can work backwards and create a plan for how to get there See more

11.01.2022 FEEL GOOD FEEDBACK // We LOVE it when we get feedback from our members about the impact that training with us has had on their lives. We recently asked Kendall what she felt was her biggest gain since starting her journey with us and here's what she had to say... "It’s really hard to say, I’ve been thinking a lot about it and unable to really put my finger on it but I’d say there’s a shift in confidence - not just 'self confidence' but a belief in the pro...cess. I have a confidence that (after trying to lose weight with less successful methods) this one will work. In hindsight I don’t think I fully committed to some other methods/gyms because I didn’t have the confidence it would work long term. This time I feel like something has shifted in my mindset because I’ve found something manageable, realistic and enjoyable which gives me hope for the future and confidence that my goals are now achievable. F45 motivates me to push a bit harder, go a bit faster, get that last rep, and try and be better than I was yesterday...focusing on these micro goals then helps with the bigger goals falling into place rather than focusing on the big goal and losing motivation when it seems too far away.
