20.01.2022 Hydration powers greatness. To achieve peak physical and mental performance in your Challenge and your life, proper hydration can’t be overlooked. Getting hydration right means you can train, recover and perform like the champion you are. As humans, we have a sophisticated network of metabolic pathways that requires water to function. The movement of this water between regions of the body is due to the presence of electrolyteslike sodium, chlorine, potassium and calciumthat... help maintain and retain a fluid balance. Adequate hydration maintains blood volume, which is important for the delivery of blood to the active muscles during training and the regulation of body temperature, which allows our bodies to cool faster. How Much Water Do I Need? On average, aim for 2-3L per day, or 35-45mL per kilogram body weight. These values are based on an average person, so you’ll have to increase this amount if you exercise at a high intensity for 45 minutes a day or are a heavy sweater. Try some of these tips to increase your water intake: Have a glass of water first thing in the morning. -Take a full bottle to your morning or evening F45 class and drink it throughout the workout. Fill it up again after the class and sip on it until you get home or to work. -Keep a water bottle with you at work and aim to drink a bottle between arriving and lunch, and then another between lunch and leaving.

17.01.2022 I joined f45 because I was determined to improve both my physical and mental health. It has been just over 7 months now and I have lost over 13+ kg I could not have found a more supportive place to do this. I was very shy and uncoordinated when I first joined and the trainers would patiently show me how to do some of those tricky moves (hello shoot throughs) correctly until I got it. On top of this, every person I have been partnered with in class were always happy to help ...me. I believe that we have all the resources at our hands to make a better version of ourselves. F45 kelmscott demonstrates this by providing ; - The 6 week challenges to keep you motivated which include body scans - Heart rate monitor capabilities so you can track your results after each work out - Weekly work out challenges - Solid nutritional programs & advice from Coach Caitlyn My personal favourite part about going to F45 is that I legitimately find it fun so it has never felt like a chore and I've never had a bad work out. I would recommend F45 to anyone who is looking for a lifestyle change like me

14.01.2022 Member Mondays: PHIL AMEDURI I signed up to f45 Kelmscott after joining a challenge at work. I wasnt sure what to expect, ive never really been a 'gym' person. What i like is the support the trainers give - not too little and not too much, its a great balance and no pressure. ... I joined in August and have lost over 10kgs in just under 5 months. I havent been going crazy either, some weeks 4 classes, others 2... Come & Join the F45 Kelmscott Team You won’t regret it

13.01.2022 Helllllllo team! This Saturday 12th our beautiful Paige O'donnell is going to run one class from 6am - 7am. As most of you know we have our end of year Christmas party & it starts at 11am in the city so we’re not gonna run any later classes as we all have somewhere to be ... No Sunday classes for the 13th Dec! As we will all be enjoying a much needed Sunday off! Thanks fam x

10.01.2022 DISCIPLINE VS MOTIVATION In order to achieve sustainable , long term results, it’s important to improve our self discipline rather than relying on motivation! Motivation only exists as a noun. But discipline has a verb form. In other words, discipline is something you do, and choose to do; motivation is a thing that can come and go, which you cannot choose to do or control.... When the motivation just isn’t there , it’s self discipline that we need to act on to take the steps anyway towards reaching our goal! It’s tuning in to our reason WHY. and making the decision that you are going to be consistent ( not perfect ) with putting in the steps to get there ! Each and every day.

The sun is getting warmer and we want to take this opportunity to remind our members to keep hydrated and wear a hat whilst outdoors! Next week we will be running an in studio challenge to give away some hats so stay tuned
