13.01.2022 Introducing one of our favourite mums, Donna! This gorgeous member has just ticked over her 1 year anniversary with F45 Blaxland. In that time she has lost an impressive 20 kilos and gained a heap more in fitness! Donna joined our last challenge and we are so impressed with her results! In just those 8 Weeks she; ... Lost 6.1 Kilos And reduced her body fat by 21% Here’s what she had to say about her experience; This was my first challenge since starting F45 in April 2019. I was now in a good training routine & steadily losing weight but needed to set yet another goal. I remember sitting nervously at the info night as I listened to such positive & inspiring stories from past challengers. I think I realised then "I’m here now, I have to stick to it" that seemed a little daunting. I thought that food would definitely be the hardest part of my journey, thinking I would have to cook differently for the rest of my family. So I decided to take the pressure off a little at the start & ordered the Challenge prepared meals from Muscle Chef, it gave me an idea of portion control and I would compliment them with meals I would prep. I now have some great recipe ideas & my family are enjoying the variety too. I used and found the F45 Challenge attendance chart super helpful as I would highlight the days I trained & it was so satisfying seeing the week filled in - especially seeing an increase in attendance! The encouragement from the trainers, in person, via FB or texts felt special & very helpful. I never regretted getting up for a 5am class, that feeling of accomplishment after a huge sweat session made it all worth it. That & the happy faces of trainers & fellow gym go-ers, our little chats, the encouraging words like "try a heavier weight..you've got this" made this all a wonderful experience & pushed me to another level. 8 weeks is such a small portion of your life & you will feel so much better for it. I feel proud I did something for myself, but never did I feel I was alone in this journey! 09.01.2022 BOOM! Highlighting this amazing effort by Jack in our last 8 Week Challenge! 13.4 Kilos! Reduced BF by 23%... Visceral Fat down from 12 to 8! Amazing results Jack! I first started at F45 because I was sick of sitting at home eating all day and doing nothing. I started going with a friend and having done competitive sports my whole life, instantly fell in love with the training. It was a different style of training and exercise that I hadn’t done before, which is why I loved it so much. After seeing all the results from the past challenges, the competitor in me was thinking I can do that! So from then on my one focus was to lose as much body fat as I could and to try and train with some of the hardest working people here - which is a lot of people. I feel amazing after having lost as much as I have. Getting up early every morning is surprisingly easy thanks to all the trainers and everyone else at F45 Blaxland. They were always pushing me and helping me to be my best. I will continue working to lose weight as I’m just short of where my goals are. I will also continue to try and motive and push everyone else in anyway I can. Thanks Jack, you sure are a huge motivator to many and will continue to inspire others to achieve their own goals. 07.01.2022 Wow!!! Check out the amazing results by Alyce in our last challenge. Although this was interrupted by the Covid restrictions she still gave it her all. We have loved seeing Alyce maintaining her fitness with our current F45 Live membership Alyce’s 8 week results; ... 5.9 Kilos Reduced BF by 17% 21.5cm off her measurements We think you’ve done an amazing job and so happy we still get to see your happy face in the Lives! I loved the challenge experience. I did my first challenge at the end of 2019 but I didn’t do the food. I’d told myself I didn’t have enough time with a 2.5yr old and a 6 months old. I realised that after doing that challenge that the food plays a major role in obtaining desired goals. Fast forward to this challenge This challenge I ensured that I prepped for the whole week to set myself up for success. I wasn’t going to let two young kids stop me from my goals this time. I stuck to the food and did 5 sessions a week. I never needed motivation to get to the sessions because I love them Getting up at 5:15am isn’t a hassle when it’s for something that you love. *Also it was MY hour out everyday to focus on me and not the kids The support in studio, through Facebook and texts was amazing and then for family and friends to notice how well you are doing, give you praise on how good you look is a massive confident booster We can’t wait to reward and recognise Challenge 25 results at our next F45 Event - we haven’t forgotten your hard work and dedication! #f45training #f45liveblaxland #fitnessmotivation

02.01.2022 We are so excited to be starting off the year on such a high.... Challenge 30 starts today - and it’s not too late to start. We thought a good way to kick off the challenge would be by sharing a little bit of our own head trainer and F45 Blaxland owners story... thanks Dave for giving us a bit more insight into where your passion for fitness and helping others has come from. I haven’t always been a trainer ... I haven’t always been fit I haven’t always been confident In fact, I spent my late teens and all of my twenties overweight and hating myself. I worked in a high pressure corporate environment where we worked hard and played even harder and getting paid to eat and drink did nothing for my health (Think wolf of Wall Street. At my worst I weighed 112kg. I was convinced that being morbidly overweight was my future, that it was my genetics and that nothing I did could prevent it. There was not a Curley male under 120kg at the time. So what changed? If you have been to one of our information nights we talk about goals and more importantly your WHY. My WHY arrived in the form of a beautiful baby girl called Sienna. I might have accepted what was destined for me but I could not accept it for her and wanting the best possible life for my daughter I knew that it was up to me to break the cycle. My introduction to fitness was via a challenge very much the same as what we are about to undertake and for that 8 weeks I worked my butt off. I trained hard and was structured in my nutrition and I stuck to it religiously. I ended up coming second but in my eyes I had won so much more than a competition. I got to do some pretty cool things as a result which included being selected to be a part of a magazine photo shoot where I got to meet lots of health and fitness inspired people which ultimately lead me to being introduced to F45. Following the challenge it wasn’t always easy. I slipped back into old habits, I yo-yo’d up and down and I had to fight hard to maintain what I had achieved and I still fight everyday. It’s not something that comes as easily as you may think, it’s a constant battle that sometimes I lose but most of the time I win. Life changing is not just a catch phrase to me and I am very lucky that it has put me in a position to help 100’s of people transform themselves and their lives as I have. I changed my career and found a life that I never dreamt could have been possible. This challenge could re shape your whole life, not just your body and we will be there every step of the way to help you achieve what you set out to. Wishing everyone a successful challenge 30.
