09.01.2022 Technique Tip taken from tuesdays resistance session! You can apply these tips to any lateral or frontal raise with bar / dumbells etc. 1. Make sure you set, with the knees not locked and good posture (shoulders back, back straight and chest up).... 2. Bar only comes to shoulder height. 3. . Control the movmement. 4. Avoid swinging - if you have to use swinging from the back or legs, you need to reduce the weight! See more

08.01.2022 As we pass the half way point of the challenge, now is the time to really nuckle down and focus on those goals! 1 Common question we get asked is : can I drink alcohol on the f45 challenge? Yes and No.... No, alcohol is not on the f45 meal plan. And for the BEST results, we’d recommend not drinking alcohol or limiting alcohol on the plan! However, we want you to take tools away from the f45 challenge that are sustainable, so totally cutting out alcohol might not be sustainable for YOU and your lifestyle. Alcohol contains 7 calories per gram partnered with high sugar mixers means it can be quite easy to rack up quite a few extra calories to tip you out of your deficit into maintainence (weight will stay the same) or worse, a surplus (weight gain). If fat loss is your goal I’d recommend reducing the intake as much as possible as it can be very frustrating to be sticking to your meal plan 100% but not see the results due to alcohol taking you out of the deficit. Life is for living. Have a glass of wine. Have a beer. Be present. Enjoy it. However, you must align your actions with your expectations. If you are determined to drop body fat, there will need to be sacrifices! Our tips for you: Reduce intake where possible Choose low-calorie drinks and mixers Make sure your food is prepped for the day AFTER the drinking. (We all know how tempting it can be for Uber eats when hungover! Have your f45 challenge approved meals prepped and ready to go!) Reach out if you need help
