19.01.2022 Minima is a cleverly compact and crafted small footprint home: a ‘tiny house’, rural retreat, suburban studio or backyard room, designed by the award-winning team at TRIAS. The standard module can be configured as a mini apartment, or can be simplified as a home office. The double module, which is arranged as a T-shaped compact house, expands to include one or two bedrooms, living and dining areas, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The design of Minima is simple, elegant and functional, making it a beautiful and timeless addition to any garden, backyard or rural property.

13.01.2022 Courtyard House is a prefabricated, off grid, modern interpretation of the traditional Australian rural home. Courtyard House contains a generous kitchen, living and dining area, two bedrooms, and a study. These rooms are surrounded by decks and sheltered courtyards, which encourage indoor outdoor living. The design also contains several utility spaces, which make country living both practical and easy. The prefabricated construction of Courtyard House makes this design highl...y flexible. There is a built in ability to rotate or mirror the floor plan which means that - regardless of a site’s orientation or aspect - Courtyard House is able to establish a strong connection to its immediate landscape in all directions. This ensures that Courtyard House feels grounded in each and every place where it’s installed. Courtyard House has been the recipient of two national Houses Awards: the 2020 Homes Under 200sqm - Commendation Award and the 2020 Sustainability - Commendation Award. These recognise the exemplary design and progressive values that underpin Courtyard House.
