24.01.2022 It has been quite warm today so I am thinking of a cool babbling brook for my next scarf. Getting my threads ready to sew. Just looking at it makes me cooler.

23.01.2022 My favourite model is coming home next week. Solvy scarf factory is open, making scarves in order to take plenty of pics while she is here. Everything looks better on her than on me. (P.S. It’ll be nice to hang out together as well. I do miss her.)

20.01.2022 The colour and texture! Love, love, love. Gardening is good for the soul!!

18.01.2022 When you have curly hair you take notice of pictures like this. Sometimes mine looks exactly like this lady’s.

16.01.2022 This big beauty (the scarf, not Melody) is for sale at 'Our Shop', 104 William Street in Rockhampton, together with other scarves made by me. So excited to have them in this lovely shop. It's well worth a visit to check out their beautiful stock.

11.01.2022 In love with this colour showing off in my bush house. I envisage a lush, purple, velvet evening gown teamed with gold jewellery! Nature’s beauty!!

11.01.2022 It’s finished, I think! What do you think?

10.01.2022 I am excited to announce that a beautiful selection of my scarves is now available at "Our Shop" in their gorgeous new premises at 104 William Street, Rockhampton. Follow this link to find their Facebook page and check out their quality locally handmade stock. https://www.facebook.com/ourshopqld or visit www.ourshopqld.com.au These are just three examples of my scarves on display. This is a fresh look at my products with a brand new affordable price structure.

10.01.2022 Work in progress. Not a colour scheme I am comfortable with, so good practice - silk ribbon, stranded and perle cotton, glass beads. What will it look like when finished?

09.01.2022 A new warm, cuddly scarf which I made from a fairly ugly crochet blanket that had bad tension. It was destined for landfill but had pretty colours so I unpicked it and made a scarf on my sewing machine. I’m so happy with the result.

05.01.2022 This is my first effort at freeform knitting and crochet (scrumbling) made many years ago. I started by following a pattern designed by Prudence Mapstone but I made so many mistakes that I just forged on by myself without the pattern and with a fair bit of fudging. Have learned a lot since then and enjoy wearing this now that the weather is a little cooler.

04.01.2022 Never too old to learn. I really enjoyed a weaving workshop with Linda Douglas. Thanks Linda for teaching me a new technique for textiles and for the photos. Already have plans for the next bag.

03.01.2022 Isn’t this amazing?
