14.01.2022 I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that supported me this year! Oh boy was it a big one 2019 has been a big year of learning for me and I can’t wait to put all of the knowledge and ideas I’ve gained into action in the new year. I started off doing makeup at the age of 17 with nothing but a small bag of Big W makeup. I had a little car that barely got me from A to B doing round trips of 40mins + each way for 1 client at a time (I never once asked for a travel fee be...cause I was to scared that the person would no longer want to hire me). I did a year of Beauty Pageant makeup in which I offered my time for free. I have spent thousands of dollars on my kit to have the whole thing stolen days before a job I travelled overseas for a wedding that I undercharged for. I spent 6 months doing a course that started at 7am every morning in the city (I lived a good hour away!) I have had to stand on my feet for 10+ hours with no break, no food or water. I have had to wake up at 3am. I have made so many left turns! BUT I wouldn’t change any of it for a million dollars because each experience lead me to where I am today.. I am sooo grateful for each and every one of you because if it weren’t for you I wouldn’t have pushed myself to do BETTER. There are still a lot of things that I want to improve on but for now I can say that I am proud of where my business is. I have been enjoying a much needed break with my family over the holidays and in this time I have really began to appreciate my craft all over again. Bigger and better things to come
