25.01.2022 Since our clinic has been closed, we have received a lot of questions from our clients via email and on our socials. Many of you are asking how can you keep your skin glowing and hydrated whilst at home in isolation. I want to share with you one of my favourite Friday night rituals, the Rehab. Step One... Start with a good cleanse with an AHA/BHA cleanser. If you have sensitive skin, you can substitute this with a Gentle Cleanser Step Two Gently dry your face. It is important to ensure your skin is not wet Step Three Evenly apply a layer of Rehab probiotic mask and allow to dry for 10-20 minutes. 14.01.2022 I thought I would share with you my actual skin care regime. Staying at home in isolation is the perfect time to fine tune your skin care routine. A solid skin care regime ensures your skin is in the best condition for when you can get back to Facelove for your injectables and favourite skin treatments. We are all different with differing skin types and conditions. I have added a few additional (optional) steps to cater for your specific needs. In the Morning... Cleanse I love to start my day with a Gentle Cleanser. Our gentle cleanser is exactly as the name suggests, gentle. This product is suitable for all skin types and has a refreshing fragrance that I love to start my morning with. Apply my Vitamin C Serum Facelove Skin's Vitamin C serum is my essential. Containing a stable form of Vitamin C (10%), this serum provides antioxidant protection and shields against UV damage to the skin and reduces pigmentation while promoting collagen synthesis. Facelove Skins C Serum is a potent combination of antioxidants and skin-lightening plant extracts to effectively even skin tone, suppress melanocyte activity and provide hydration. Apply my Sunscreen Even if I am not planning to be outside, I always apply a sunscreen. The product I am loving at the moment is Aspect Sun Envirostat 'On the go' SPF50. Containing Vitamin E, this is a broad spectrum dry touch protection chemical sunscreen for the face and body. Envirostat On The Go provides up to 4 hours water resistant protection and is suitable for all skin types. Prevention through protection is the key to keeping your skin looking youthful. In other words, when the skin is injured, it produces new collagen to heal the damage.
