22.01.2022 THE KEY TO HEALING STRESS, IMBALANCES AND DIS-EASE IN THE BODY Stress factors play a big role in our health and wellbieng. If we feel stressed or anxious all the time, wether it is work, a busy schedule, pain, illness or some recent experience that has upset or impacted our lives, whatever the reason, the chemicals activatated by stress raise the cortisol in our bodies, which is great if we need an instant surge of adrenaline to fight or flight or run from a bear...but lo...ng term high doses of cortisol, adrenaline ect...created by elevated stress exhausts the energy system, depletes the body until eventually leads to all kinds of physical problems from aches and pains to inflammation to dis-ease and illness.... We want to reduce those chemicals, by reducing stress and raises endorphins, your 'happy' chemicals! This can be done through a number of tools and meditation techniques. The easieast and quickest way is to slow down your breathing, take Slow Deep breaths in and out and focus on your breath, in for 5, hold for 5 and out for 5...or longer if you can do this for as little as 1 minute. Try doing this a few times a day and you WILL feel the difference! As the upper part of the lungs activates chemicals that bring fight or flight response and the lower part of the lungs activates chemicals that bring relaxation, cleansing and healing The key to reducing stress, healing imbalances and dis-ease in the body is moving energy through your breath...simply breathing extra oxygen cleanses, improves immunity, increases energy, relieves pain and opens different parts of our bodies. I have felt all the above and have almost died a handful of times as a result of multiple tragedies... Living life is learning We can grow through what we go through, I am living proof of that...... 07.01.2022 What a great day, the spring is in full swing, put my sketchers on and went for my first run this year... that sure opened my lungs up..whoaaa!!So damn Nice to get out n bout and start working on 'outdoor' fitness again, not been easy in 2020 with bushfires then covid restrictions and the icy winter we just had... Bring on sunshine, fun, easing of restrictions, open borders and a fitness regime that supports our health AND Wellbieng! When i need motivation ...My father is in his 60's, he still does 2 finger push ups, 3 minute planks and can spar any age for 20minutes solid, he was winning martial arts tornaments in his 40's against 20 and 30 year old black belts! That kind of strength and stamina is inspiring!
