24.01.2022 Mid and Lower Face Rejuvenation As we age we loose volume in our mid face and cheeks and become lower face dominant as gravity takes place. Deep lines in the Nasolabial and Marionette regions become more obvious which can prematurely age us. In this gorgeous ladies situation she was self conscious of her marionette lines and the sides of mouth which were pulling downwards. ... To rectify these issues 2 mls of dermal filler was used in her cheeks to create contour and 1ml was used for her marionettes, oral commissures and upper lip lines. This has softened the lines and has flipped the sides of mouth up to improved her downturned corners. We also administered a small amount of wrinkle relaxer to the marionette region to relax the muscles and lessen the pull of her slightly downturned mouth.

The cheek bones resorb, our fat pads in our mid face migrate south and the collagen in our skin decreases which effects the laxity of our skin. All these processes lead to a heavier lower face and can create static lines and excess skin. To treat this, dermal filler can be used in the cheeks to create structure and contour and it can also be used in the Nasolabial folds and Marionette lines around the mouth wh...ich can often give away our age. My gorgeous patient has kindly allowed me to show her before and after pictures of her treatment. Interest and contour was created in her cheeks and the deep lines around her mouth were filled to give an over youthful look. Inflammation and redness is present as pictures were taken immediately after the treatment. This will subside after 2 weeks.

For Wrinkle Relaxer we use the tiniest of needles and the procedure is over before you know it. With dermal filler we use compounding pharmacy topical anaesthetic which makes the treatment very tolerable. To also help I have stress balls and vibration device to distract you and alter the pain pathway. One other thing to take into account when booking is where you on your menstrual cycle. Women are generally more sensitive to pain leading up to and during their period. At the end of the day all my patients say that the small amount of discomfort is worth the beautiful results that you will achieve from injectables.

Lips naturally begin to thin and dehydrate which gives away our age. This area can be treated with dermal filler to fill lines and treat lips to provide structure and hydration. ... My beautiful patient kindly offered me these pictures to show her transformation over a couple of months. We used 2ml of premium dermal filler to her nasolabial and marionette lines which was done in two seperate treatments and we also filled her lips with 1ml of dermal filler. Wrinkle relaxer was also used to relax the depressor anguli Oris muscle which can pull the corners of the mouth down which can cause a downturned smile or an unhappy face. The results have refreshed the area and given a beautiful natural and youthful appearance. There is a common misconception that filler will make you look unnatural, overfilled and not yourself. If it is done properly it enhances your features and softens imperfections. Less is more and choose your injector wisely.
