20.01.2022 Recent updates to the Oculus VR Enterprise headsets opened a new pathway for Facilitate to distribute our virtual training platform. The new business channel allows us to easily provide our customers with the Facilitate app with minimal manual upkeep. We can now easily keep track of app updates, giving our customers more time to focus on delivering impactful training using VR. With most of us working remotely because of the impact of Covid-19, the way we train and learn at work has changed forever. This article covers the overall impact of Covid-19 on training and how it has affected remote and virtual training methods. This includes the rise in popularity of blended-learning, one of the many ways we're seeing Facilitate being used. The article... also covers the impact of training on company culture, and the impact on engagement due to the increase in dispersed workers. In 2020, we focused on this issue by making Facilitate more accessible for remote teams by creating a desktop version. 15.01.2022 Thanks to everyone that attended the VR101 in Safety event on Tuesday at Spacecubed's Riff. It was a fantastic evening made in large part by the strong engagement from everyone there. Some key takeaways: Participants identified many high impact areas where VR could improve safety outcomes (see the whiteboard!) VR is best for training which is dangerous, expensive and / or difficult to replicate... 10.01.2022 The virtual reality headset market is rapidly evolving and Facilitate is evolving with it.
