Listen to it on Soundcloud, or download it from iTunes when they upload it, hopefully, this week. 08.01.2022 Our new album "The Dogma Fandango" features a song called "Oh Sleep," sung beautifully by Mabel Windred Wornes from Charm of Finches. We submitted Oh Sleep to be reviewed by Tunecore listeners from all over the world. Here’s a sample of what they said: I haven’t heard anything like this in a long time. This is art. Simply beautiful. A masterpiece. Very soothing and heartfelt. The sorrowful quality is consoling to listen to and, as it builds in energy, it makes the song ...more captivating and artistically woven in style. The female lead singer’s alluring voice perfectly harmonises with the quality and moor of the music So beautiful. One could imagine being near a river in a meditative atmosphere. I love the Celtic feel. The singer has an absolutely beautiful voice. A delightfully brilliant song, full of life. Love the horns and symphonic feel. This reminds me of a medieval fight scene, when the girl starts singing, with the powerful crescendos and piano in the distance Ten times best music on air. I love this song. It made me sob a lot. Amazing music at the beginning. I love the singing, the tone of your voice is beautiful The intro has a stunning vibe that I could not get out of my head. Wonderful. The solo acoustic violin sets a stark and unforgettable contrast. Then, as the vocalist modestly gains the attention of the listener, one is again lured into the song once more before it is too late. The vocalist’s voice is serpentine slightly childish and haunting which adds to the overall atmosphere. Super sweet voice. I liked the explosion moment at 3.20. I love this. It takes me back to some place, and I cannot put my finger on it. Beautiful start. So peaceful and sublimely calming. And the voice: incredible. Soothing and gorgeous. A wonderful piece of music. Soothing, well controlled. The vocals are beautiful and mesmerising. The Dogma Fandango by Factory Band. Available on iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud and pretty well everything else.
07.01.2022 Factory Band "Big In Poland" free download Factory Band closed off the year with the release of Big In Poland. The title came from a remark made by Simon Martin during a birthday party, when I said to him that Complicit had been listened to and downloaded in Warsaw. To which he said so you’re big in Poland. You should call an album that. All of it was written in the 1970s, and much of it was recorded at that time. We had a Teac 4 track tape machine and several micro...phones set up in our lounge, as well as an upright piano, a rented Fender Rhodes piano, a drum kit and occasionally someone to play it, a Thomas electronic organ and, best of all, access to a real pipe organ. My old mates David Hayes and Warren Edwards chipped in with some guitar on some tracks, and a couple of lovely flute players blew some soaring melodies. Much of it is as recorded at the time, warts and all. Some of it had to be overdubbed and subjected to 21st century technology, mainly when the old tapes were beyond repair. A few pieces were completely reassembled, using some scraps that only existed on cassette. File Add folder to library. Browse to and select the Big In Poland folder you just downloaded. Wait for it to load. Then sync to your device. Merry Christmas everyone.
