09.01.2022 | IMPORTANT UPDATE | We hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe. Following the stage 2 announcement on Tuesday night, we have been permitted to stay open under strict guidelines. However, we anticipate this will change in the near future and will keep you updated.... Our elevated sanitisation processes within our shops are working well and we are thankful for your trust in us. Moving forward, we ask for your support with the following points. * Book ahead via phone call or app * Minimise who attends your appointment (by yourself or one parent only) * Sanitise your hands as soon as you enter our shops NOTE: You now have an entire waiting bench to yourself :)(4m2) As of this morning, the Govt has lifted the 30min appointment rule. Our barbers are staggered to keep a min 1.5m cutting distance.

06.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW? THE BARBER POLE Have you ever wondered what the significance of the barber pole is? There are a few theories but...... ...barbers used to perform surgery that included blood letting. Patients would grip a pole to encourage blood flow. Barbers would then cut and bleed patients. This was done to encourage the creation of new healthy blood, which was believed to bring balance and cure disease and illness. It is said the bloodied bandages would be wrapped around the pole and hung outside the barbershop to dry and advertise their business. Sometimes these bandages would swirl in the wind, giving it the spiral motion we see today. The barber's pole represents a rich history in barbering. Many of you would be glad we don't perform these medical procedures anymore but if you could address us as "doctor" from now on, that would be appreciated nah, but seriously, if you ever need a Panadol while in our care, we gotchu! #barberdoctorate #dentists #barberlife #barberlove #dental #smile #beard #teeth #barberworld #barbernation #model #barbergang
