17.01.2022 WE'RE BACK! We are so very excited to announce the re-opening of our doors at FAD! We've missed you all immensely and can't wait to see your lovely faces again. What. A. Year! And we're not even half way through yet! We hope you've all been keeping well, safe and sane in these weird times. We've been working away - sprucing the place up and making sure we can open up with a safe and enjoyable environment for us all. With the easing of restrictions next week we will be open...ing up from Wednesday the 24th, and as sensational as it is that we can all partake in a beverage (or few), things are going to be a bit different to what we've known it previously. But do not fret, we'll still make sure you have a damn fine time with tasty alcoholic beverages, a coffee/tea; we've got board games to get your mind engaged, and other offers to make sure you have a damn fine time with us . We've completed all required Covid training to re-open, done a complete clean of the venue and have installed further cleaning practices and protocols to make sure we keep ourselves, and most importantly you, all safe. For the time being we are only permitted a small number of customers (20 to be exact) at the one time - as much as we'd love to say we'd love to see you all for a big welcome back party so we can dance the night away - that is still some time away yet. As we all start to re-open our businesses in line with government guidelines, we ask everyone to remember to please be patient with staff and respectful of all businesses and each other as we all have to adhere to the restrictions in place. We all want to make this work so we can keep taking steps forward so we can have a dance together at some point soon in the future. This is a step forward and quite frankly a relief that we can open again, even if it is a small capacity - because boy oh boy have we missed all your damn fine faces. As we very much miss picking tunes for you all and dancing the weekend away (those times will return when it is safe to do so in the future) - So we thought wed ask for your input into helping us compile some playlists here and there during this further stage of lockdown. We need some fun after all in the com...fort and safety of our own home alongside a bottle of wine.or few. We think this will be a cathartic and enjoyable exercise for our sanity. With the recent announcement by the State Government of the abandoned plan to further ease restrictions from this coming Monday - which we understand and respect, but there will be an amended change to how we can open. We are now only permitted to have 20 seated patrons at one time in FAD. We are NO LONGER TAKING BOOKINGS, WALK I...NS ONLY - for the foreseeable future - so first in, best dressed. But if you're in town or wanting to head in, please feel free to give us a buzz anytime and we'll let you know how we are travelling. We don't like disappointing people and turning people away, but remember we are adhering to the laws in place - so please don't take it personally if it happens. However we will be respecting the bookings that have been placed for this week, it was very heartwarming receiving the lovely messages from so many of you yesterday - at this stage this Friday the 26th is close to being booked out, but call us on the night and we will let you know if some spots have freed up. We will be doing everything in power our to ensure that even with less numbers permitted that we will make sure you have a Fadulous time. This goes without saying - if you are feeling unwell - STAY HOME! Make sure you're feeling 100% and take care of yourself. Not just for you, but for everyone else. We totally understand how frustrating this time is, but we need to keep doing the right thing so eventually we can take further steps forward.
