20.01.2022 Thomas with a nice Cale Cale Trevally

20.01.2022 Beautiful conditions on the reef today. The fishing was ok too

19.01.2022 David landed this nice Queeny on a soft plastic this morning and had a good Spanish Mac bite him off at the boat. Also landing a number of School Macs. Was also good to see some long tails around.

17.01.2022 Even with the water temp at 31 deg on the flats the rubble patches are still a mixed bag of reef fish, with a few trout and finger mark thrown in

14.01.2022 In the space of 48 hours: - It snowed in Tasmania - Damaging winds lashed six states and territories - Parts of NSW and the ACT were engulfed by a dust storm - ...Much of NSW sweltered in remarkable late-season heat as dangerous surf pummelled the state's coastline - Out of control bushfires destroyed homes in Victoria and NSW - The eye of Tropical Cyclone Marcus moved over Darwin See more

14.01.2022 Calm weather and good fish. Gotta be happy with that. These fellas were

14.01.2022 Some nice big Queenies around today

14.01.2022 Lots of fish on the sounder today but with the slow run the bite was slow too. Managed a few good fish though and dropped a big Covina at the boat

14.01.2022 With the water temp up a bit this week the Creeks are fishing much better

14.01.2022 Another classic day at the reef.

13.01.2022 Part 2 Scott Muller vs GT

13.01.2022 The boys did a bit of popping today

13.01.2022 Great fishing in the estuary this morning. Adam did a great job helping us to catch enough Mangrove Jack (snapper) for dinner tonight. We managed to avoid the crocs, but Rose Head got some good photos of one.

13.01.2022 Did you think your car was the only thing that needs oil? Are your skirted trolling lures sticky, stiff or brittle? Then Peter Pakula reckons they probably need an oil change

13.01.2022 About as big as they come

13.01.2022 Some handy knots to know

12.01.2022 Bob celebrated his birthday in fine style

12.01.2022 Good weather and some building tides over the last few days have produced a real mixed bag of species.

12.01.2022 A good session on the trout today with soft plastics

11.01.2022 Soft plastics have been producing a nice mix of reef fish in the shallows while poppers and stick baits accounted for a few Gt Spanish Mackerel.

11.01.2022 Simon with a nice Bar Cheek from a shallow bit of reef and some Jacks in the creek

11.01.2022 With a break in the weather we were able to get offshore and chase some bigger fish.

10.01.2022 I was surprised to see this guy still up here as most of the whales I’ve heard about seem to be already way down south

10.01.2022 What everyone having for xmas dinner

10.01.2022 This morning we were casting slugs and plastics to bait balls getting hammered by all sorts of Pelagics. Cale Cale trevally, GTs, Mackeral, Queenfish and long tales all going beserk

09.01.2022 Yesterday we had good conditions but the fish were quiet. Today the played the game. There are still some nice Spanish Mackerel around as well

08.01.2022 It was a bit of a tuff day on the reef yesterday with no ride but Chris still had abut of fun on the flats follow big rays that had cobia and Gold Spot Trevally following them. Chris then put a nice cast in front of some cruising GTs and got hammered.

08.01.2022 Ripper little arvo fish in the creek today. 14 jacks 35 to 42cm plus a little cod, a grunted and couple of bream. Good fun !

06.01.2022 Some more Reef action today, it was all happening on the poppers

06.01.2022 With the wind up for a few days we have been pushed back into the estuaries where the fishing has been a bit off on but with some hunting around we still managing a few fun fish

05.01.2022 I think this is still the biggest Barracuda Ive seen. Caught by Tim Simpson of Blue Water Magazine on a lure testing trip with Hilton from Dr Hook Lures

05.01.2022 With a long flat spell and heaps of prawns and baitfish around, the fishing all along the coast has generally been pretty good. Trout are taking bait and lures on the shallow reefs and it's well worth throwing a popper with GTs lurking along the beaches

05.01.2022 Had a quick flick with one of the new Balistic Lures today. It was fairly light conditions so not sure if it was the flash that did the trick or not but it has a great action twitch or slow roll.

05.01.2022 We haven't had many days offshore but when we've been able to get out there these guys have been blighting well

04.01.2022 Nifty and the boys are having Spanish Mackerel for dinner tonight

02.01.2022 Early morning Fingermark on the beach. Love it

02.01.2022 Martin and Thomas enjoyed a mixed bag fishing today

01.01.2022 Some more nice fish from our inshore waters. For anyone looking for good quality affordable braid check out Mongrel Fishing. Been using it for a while now in 20 & 30lb, thin diameter, soft, keeps its colour and casts really well.

01.01.2022 The weather fishing has been very kind to us for the school holidays

01.01.2022 Working soft vibes around the inshore feeds can pay off
