25.01.2022 Gday awesome people now the holidays are well and truly over for most of us (although some of us didn’t get a holiday ) it’s time to get back into the swing of things and prepare for what is hopefully an awesome year With lots of rallies, events, challenges and competitions coming up we want our horses to feel their best and perform to the best of their ability right? That’s where I come in to help I have bookings available from next week onwards Unfortunately my hou...rs are still restricted due to clinic work (which ends 29/1) but until then my hours are the following Monday - Friday 7am - 12.30pm Weekends are 8am - 7pm, I like to think that I offer an affordable and affective service reminder of costs $50 for local clients if you are outside the local area it may be an extra $10-$20 for travel but I will let you know at booking, clients 2 hours away is $100 which includes shared travel I will be attending a lot of events this year either with my own horses or just there to support all of you guys, with that I will be available for on-site massages no appointments necessary although if you want to make sure I am at the event you need me be sure to shoot me a message and let me know what event and what time and I’ll make sure I am there Jess, you have a different horse in this post? Yes this is my beautiful mare Becky, I know I only post my own horses on social media as I respect my clients and do not want to post their horses all over Facebook as it their privacy, more than happy for you guys to share my work or photos of me or photos of your horses getting a massage, I just don’t post clients horses on here So as per usual, Unsure if I can help your horse? Unsure of what it is I exactly do? Does she just come around with a machine for 15 mins and leave again? Will my horse benefit from this short or long term? Did you know that horses show us that they are relaxed and content by licking, chewing, yawning and also deep sighs, we also get these reactions from them when tension is released, sore or tight spots are released out with Myofascial release, trigger point therapy and Cycloid Vibration Therapy With every horse I evaluate all of the muscles individually with my hands and use my hand held unit to help release any tension in the horses body by running i...t over every muscle and focusing on troubled areas which generally the horse will give me some reactions like the ones I have mentioned above and every horse reacts differently, I also have a second hand unit in which I place into a tendon boot to focus on any leg problems, joint mobility and any hoof issues. I also have the back pad which is not used on all occasions as in my study I have found the hand unit is far more effective to problem areas especially around the wither and the muscles along the spine Stretches are super important too which I will be able to show you during treatment I have 15 plus years experience with horses breeding and veterinary and have completed courses (and learning more) to make sure my knowledge of treating horses in these areas is spot on so you can guarantee I’m not just driving around with a machine. Your horses health is important to me In saying that I am taking bookings for next week BUT unfortunately we are expecting more rain so I will need shelter as my equipment can not get wet But if you have any kind of shelter I will be more than happy to come and treat your horse Unfortunately due to new restrictions I am not a critical service so I will not be able to cross to NSW for the time being Send me a message to book your horse/s in for a full evaluation and treatment, we will get them feeling their best

20.01.2022 Hello wonderful people I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying some time off (if your one of the lucky ones) As many of you know i am a huge fan of CEN and i am an Ambassador for the company because i love it so so much and have my horses on almost every single CEN product and they look and feel amazing, So with that i bring my fellow CEN lovers some amazing news especially the ones on the Victorian side of the border ... I will be taking orders for CEN products every month to bring to your door on my daily rounds treating local horses even if you do not require my services you may still order your CEN products through me and no shipping or freight costs Shoot me a message and i will send you on a price list first lot of products will be ordered early January and hopefully arriving a week or two later depending on how post is going. 10.01.2022 BEAUTIFUL CHARLIE Today I visited darling Charlie who you would know a bit about if you read my report I posted about him a few weeks ago Charlie is doing absolutely fantastic he is not the same horse I met over 7 weeks ago he is such a happy little horse and is certainly building up muscle which is what I have been aiming to do, he has absolutely no pain and has fully straightened up not shakey or over at the knees what so ever. He can also stand completely square which... is a milestone for him, speaking of Milestones we completed another one today as Charlie was brave enough for the back pad because Charlie is not broken in (supposed to have been but there’s no way) he is obviously uncomfortable with being girthed up but with my experience with young horses I made sure everything was done slowly and carefully and he loved his session as usual. We are now up to just monthly visits! Super proud of this little guy and very lucky to be apart of his journey

02.01.2022 Happy Monday Everyone As we head into Stage 3 in regional Victoria I want everyone to know that Fainterview Equine Massage Therapy will still be operating as normal with one slight change and that being I will only be treating horses in the same town on the same day for example I won’t be treating horses in Myrtleford and horses in Bright on the same day they will be treated 2 separate days. I have disinfectant wipes for all of my gear which is cleaned after every... horse, please understand I can not wear gloves to do my job properly but I carry sanitiser with me at all times and use it as often I will also be carrying masks with me should you wish I wear one. I want to reassure everyone that I come from a completely Covid 19 free area and do the right thing when I leave In these trying times I will be continuing to charge $50 per local horse instead of $70 After a huge busy week I have appointments available for this week so Send me a message to book your horse in for a session

01.01.2022 Stretching is so important, I can’t stress this enough, if you haven’t already got my stretch sheet please feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to send them to you. Remember the last point bonding with your horse, stretching can be a lot of fun some stretches are best done with a treat (carrot, liquorice ect)
