24.01.2022 Hi Everyone, This year Fair Play OOSH Garden Suburb will be having a Christmas Drive! As well as this, we will be discussing with the children about how there may be families out there who are less fortunate than others at Christmas time and getting them to make some nice Christmas cards and decorations which we will deliver to the children’s hospital for those who will spend their Christmas there. ... We aren’t only doing this as a way to help families in need, it is also a good way to educate the children on another important, sometimes forgotten aspect of Christmas Team at Fair Play OOSH Garden Suburb

The mega lego blocks seem to be a big hit with children attempting to build up to the roof ASC: This Afternoon the children weren’t afraid of the heat, playing a big game of soccer outside Much like this morning, the children couldn’t get enough of tower building using the mega blocks Have a great weekend everyone

22.01.2022 Enrol with Fair Play OOSH and receive a free I’m at Fair Play OOSH today wristband to ensure the safety of your child during the transition time and throughout their first year of school We pride ourself on the quality service we provide and go above and beyond to help families. We will be available to pick up the kindys early during the first weeks when the school has them as early leavers.

21.01.2022 Week 7 - Term 4 Thursday BSC:... This morning for our special breakfast, the girls treated the children to delicious pancakes! ASC: This afternoon we put on our sunscreen and headed down to the brand new playground! children had a lot of fun climbing and playing tips

19.01.2022 Week 7 - Term 4 Friday BSC:... This morning we spent most of our time at the craft table as children decided to make some self portraits ASC: This afternoon we returned to the new playground for more fun while some children stayed in the hall making the worlds smallest paper plane Have a great weekend everyone

16.01.2022 Term 4 week 7 Tuesday BSC: this morning the children made paper planes and played silent ball outside!... ASC: this afternoon as a follow up from our clay making and sand play we made goop... or in other words a mess! The children loved helping to put the ingredients in the bowl and debating over which colour they would make the goop! After it was mixed we put it in individual zip lock bags for the children to play with!

16.01.2022 Fair Play OOSH The school has had a meeting our Fair Play OOSH team today and there are a few community notifications that have come from the meeting: - Fair Pl...ay OOSH have requested that the OOSH is opened up to the wider community during the school holiday period only. During the school term we have only had students from Garden Suburb Public School attend our OOSH and this will continue. The school supports this and where possible our students will have priority. OOSH will open holiday enrolments up on Monday 30th November to students not attending our school so if you need to book your child in please do so before Monday. Enrolments can be made by emailing [email protected] or phoning 0452 487 404. - OOSH places for 2021 are filling up fast so if you require this for your child please ensure to get your enrolment form back to the OOSH as soon as possible to secure your spot. Many of you would know that our new playground was partly funded by the OOSH Start Up Grant ($30,000) so we would like to thank Fair Play OOSH for their support of our school, we would not have the equipment at this stage if it wasn't for the grant. Our students attending OOSH will access this equipment and students attending OOSH on Wednesdays will use it during Workout Wednesday held at OOSH each week. A big thank you to the GSPS Fair Play OOSH team for the wonderful care you show our students, it has been a big year for our service to start and I know each of our families attending appreciates the extra care that the Fair Play OOSH team put into making sure our students have an enjoyable experience.

07.01.2022 Week 7 - Term 4 Wednesday BSC:... This morning children spent most of their time outside playing all different types of ball games ASC: IT HAPPENED AGAIN! Humphrey the magical Christmas ran away! This time however, he left some clues and challenges to help find him! The joke was on Humphrey though as all the children enjoyed the opportunity to participate as well as figuring out where each clue was A big shoutout to H-Man and his family for being the first donation for our charity drive

06.01.2022 Week 7 - Term 4 Monday BSC:... This morning, the children were on a mission to find Cicada shells and by the time the bell went, they had found well and truly over 20 of them ASC: This Afternoon the children made their way to the craft table to take part in the first of many Christmas craft activities they made Christmas tree decorations which quickly turned into hair extensions

04.01.2022 Week 8 Term 4 Tuesday BSC: The children played silent ball together this morning outside before it got too hot we also spent some time making some awesome art ... ASC: This afternoon we stayed cool for a while inside and then went and played in the shade on the playground, in the nature garden and in the sandpit, the children had fun making mud pies, the floor is lava and exploring nature

This morning we were straight into making paper planes children were keen to make and race them outside ASC: This afternoon children were very excited to relax with the toys and equipment in the hall.
