25.01.2022 We have so many wonderful companies and organisations to thank for their support of our 2020 Fairbrother Foundation Charity Ride that we cant possibly thank them all properly in one single post. So well be spreading them out over the next few days. Heres our first round of thanks Lets start with the all-important food and sleep! To Central Highlands Lodge for feeding all 36 of our riders and crew on Friday night and Saturday morning and providing comfy beds for 70...% of them. This is the second year we have invaded the lodge en masse and Helen and the team do a fantastic job of catering for us all. To Great Lake Hotel. Tasmania for providing accommodation for the rest of the riders and crew. We couldnt have grown the event as much as we have without the help of Rob and the team there.
25.01.2022 *Not actual footage from last years Fairbrother Foundation Charity Ride.* Were doing it again! The 2020 Fairbrother Foundation Charity Ride is just a week and a bit away! ... This years event, on Friday 7 February and Saturday 8 February, is bigger and more challenging than last years. We have 30 riders confirmed for a course which covers 385km over two days ... with a huuuuuuge 5728m of elevation. There are going to be some sore quads on Sunday 9 February! (Not to mention their butts ... )

24.01.2022 Fairbrother welcomes todays announcement by the State Government of a $3.1 billion infrastructure investment as Tasmania recovers and rebuilds from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, the fast-tracking of government expenditure on areas such as essential services and community infrastructure will be of prime importance to the States commercial and civil construction sector. At Fairbrother, we take seriously our responsibility to continue to invest in the training of our people and ensuring we maintain the employment of our people. Construction is such an important industry for Tasmania and, almost singularly, provides a catalyst for increased confidence for so many other industries. The downstream impacts of a strong construction industry can be felt across a range of communities and industries.
