10.01.2022 Tech Log #8: . First milestone! The iOS App has been approved and is now live on the App store What are you waiting for? Download it and it it a go! ... Download here: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/fairdingo/id1527916700 (Android app is still awaiting approval from Google, it should be out in a few days. Comment "you got this Android" to be notified when the Android app is out) What's in the App: +Barcode Scanning (tap the orange circle on bottom right of the screen) +Product Name Search . Frequently Asked Questions: Q: "It doesn't have what I am looking for" A: We still have a long way to go to add more information. In the next few updates we'll be able to add/edit products/companies as well Q: "I can't see who owns this product" A: At the moment there are a few hundred products updated, out of the hundred thousands in the system. So there's clearly a lot of work to be done. I'm certain by the end of the year we will have almost all products updated. The more people that use it, add to it, the better it is for everyone. Q: "Can I add my own products in?" A: This will be a future feature. Comment "Excited!" if you want to be reached out to when this feature is live. Q: "This information looks wrong?" A: Since this data involves research and keeping the data up to date, some of the information may be incorrect. In future releases you will be able to submit an update. Q: "You're only linking to Woolworths?" A: We have plans to add more stores, and giving businesses the ability to add and list their own products. Phew, I hope that covers the main questions. 03.01.2022 #progress #design Before we can submit info, we've got to login/register right? Designed these for the login for mobile and for the website.... Thoughts on this? Btw, you might be wondering why I'm sharing designs of things that are still days/weeks away from releasing? Well, having seen other apps that promise a lot of things, and even take funds from passionate Aussies and under-delivering, we've decided to keep the community #DingoArmy involved as much possible, and start getting feedback as early as possible. It's a Lot easier to change things during the planning stage than it is during the Making stage. What do you think?
