14.01.2022 Fairfield Bulls FC Members; Firstly we would like to thank all the players, parents and families for a wonderful year in unordinary circumstances, from a committee point of view we were happy to provide a safe and enjoyable place for our teams to train and play football for season 2020. We must also recognize the importance that the parents and families played for the sport to continue during COVID restrictions at our training sessions and the games and we applaud everyone’s ...attention to the rules that were enforced. This year we undertook some initiatives that would help our coaches and managers during the 2020 season. Club Technical Director Leo Carle prepared and created training and match session plans that helped our Club take the right direction to a more technical level. We hope our players and coaches enjoyed the assistance and hope to continue this in 2021. The Club also set up a partnership with Futbol Directions academy to further excel our players technical progress on the field. Our Club achieved many milestones such as increasing to 23 teams from a total of 18 from the year before. Congratulations to our U14, U16, U18, AA1 & Premier Reserves who all made their respective competition semi-finals with the U15-3 and Premier Reserves winning the Premiers title for Season 2020. A special mention for our U18s who were undefeated Minor Premiers but we’re eliminated in their semi-finals, a great achievement from all that were involved. Our non-competitive age groups excelled in so many areas and we would like to congratulate all the players, coaches and managers for all their efforts. The biggest achievers being our U7s who were undefeated for the 2020 season. We also successfully put together an all girls U8 team which hasn’t been done for many decades at the Club and there were some excellent girls with plenty of potential, thank you to our all girls coaching team Natalie and Domarina for making this happen! Our players also received individual awards from the district and are noted below: Season; U12-1 > Ranan Raheem (Runner Up MVP) U16-1 > Bronel Aziz (Runner Up MVP) U18-1 > Vincenzo Care (Runner up MVP) AA1 > Hanna Albro (Runner up MVP) AA1 > Odisho Kando (MVP) Premier Reserves - ‘Pacific’ Basheka Pasly (MVP) Finals; U15-3 > Sharbel Younan (Finals - Player of the Match) Premier Reserves > Robert Manshi (Finals - Player of the Match) We would like to remind members that our Club is run on volunteers so if you see them walking around maybe give them a pat on the back and say thank you or ask if you would like to join and help better our local community Club.
