23.01.2022 One of the last chances this season to obtain a Community Coaching Accreditation (Level 1) Please find below the steps required to register for the upcoming community (level 1) coaching course at the Cricket NSW's training facility in Blacktown. This is the 2nd last community coaching course that Cricket NSW will be offering for season 2020-21. 1. Register for a CA coach Member number on the website https://www.community.cricket.com.au/coach/courses... 2. Click on the link to complete the registration form. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx (Note: Step 5 in the attached document shows you where you can access your ‘CA Coach ID Number’ that’s required for Q5 in the registration form). 11.01.2022 Congratulations to Jessica Hankinson on her umpiring debut today in FLCA. Jess joins her twin brother Nicolas in the FLCA junior ranks and we hope it’s the start of a whole new career for her. Jess’ debut was with Arthur Watson in the under 13s today.

09.01.2022 On January 1st we received the terrible news that Shane Graham had passed away. Shane was well known and liked from his playing days at CVD before he moved to Qld. Shane's sister Renee has asked that we put information for Shane's funeral for his many friends in FLCA. RIP Shane, 34 years old. Shane’s funeral will be this Friday the 15th at 3:30pm. ... If you are in Queensland and would like to attend please let me know so we can get numbers together. We can have 100 maximum attend (hopefully COVID doesn’t change that, otherwise is will be a maximum of 20 people). 05.01.2022 Free Level One Coaching Course for those in FLCA. Coaching Accreditation achieved in one day. Please read instructions carefully. Date: Saturday October 10th, 2020... Time: 9:00am 1:00pm Venue: Adams Park: 69 Canley Vale Rd, Canley Vale NSW 2166 Cost: Free We are keen to have approx.. 20 coaches there on the day. We have an excellent facilitator presenting and think it is a fantastic opportunity to give coaching in the region a shot in the arm. Participants must have a Cricket Australia Coach ID number and fill in the registration form to help us with Covid-19 tracking. Anyone who has not registered will not be able to attend. Below are the steps to register for the upcoming ‘community (level 1) coaching course. 1. 05.01.2022 Nice fast, confident start for our Under 13s today. Bowling first dismissed the opponents for 40 and then Dylan and Riley acheived the 40 runs in 4.1 overs with no loss of wickets. Game over at 11.40am.

04.01.2022 At the most recent FLCA Executive Committee Meeting, the position of Child Safety Officer for FLCA Representative Cricket was raised and it was unanimously endorsed that Glenn Vanderwert is appointed to this role for 2020/21. The kids of FLCA reps could not have a better person to look after them. One of the roles Glenn will fill is that he will be a confidential contact for any child in any of the teams who may have concerns or worries and feels the need to reach out to someone. Of course we hope its not needed but Glenn will be there if that is the case. After the Rep teams are selected, Glenn's details will be circulated to all teams.

01.01.2022 FLCA Under 12 started their campaign today with a win. Young Syed who is still Under 10 qualified claimed 5/15 with his leggies off 7.1 overs. Osman then took FLCA from 5/45 with terrific intent to get the win and finish unbeaten 50 off 25 balls.
