14.01.2022 Dear Parents and Families, and Fairgrounds Community. It is with much sadness I am here to announce I will be closing Fairgrounds doors on the 30th August 2019. Myself, Brendon & Arnie are ready to move onto the next chapter of our lives and I have been offered a wonderful opportunity and we will be saying goodbye to Yamba (for a while- we’ll be back!) . I have truly enjoyed being part of your families and caring for your children for the last 3+ years. I have absolutely lov...ed looking after each and every one of your children and it is with great sadness our paths will now go separate ways. I care greatly for all of the children that have visited Fairgrounds and I hope I have made a positive impression to your child’s life as they have on mine! Thankyou to everyone for all your support and well wishes! It’s because of this our goodbyes are so hard! See more

13.01.2022 On our walk we found some wonderful seedpods that we turned into snakes! They have been hiding in the sandpit, in the grass and all over our classroom and giving everyone quite the fright!

11.01.2022 Celebrating friendship day by creating a fun interactive (slightly sentimental on my part ) art piece for our classroom. Encouraging social interactions, language & teamwork as we work together on our giant collaborative artwork! I am really going to miss my mini besties!

04.01.2022 Today we had fun experimenting with magnets water and oil. We had to use the magnets to drag the metal through the water and into the oil where it got very hard as oil is so thick and heavy! We used lots of hand eye coordination and control as well as higher order thinking to problem solve and predict what will happen next.

02.01.2022 Today we recieved an awesome donation from Yamba Florist just in time for celebrating Plant a tree day this week! We have some very cool plans this week to use our flowers with lots of STEM research ideas and art
