We are happy to... mow your verge on our urban schedule or rural tractor slashing schedule but we certainly understand if you're verge proud and want to do it yourself. No matter where you live in Playford, you will have to fill out a Verge Landscaping Application form. Urban residents When your application is approved a green marker is installed on the kerb to let our crews know that you have taken on the responsibility to maintain the verge and do not need Council to mow or control weeds. Please do keep in mind any upgrades to a verge is at your own cost. Rural residents There are a few more things to consider for a rural verge landscaping application, like council infrastructure, terrain and the presence of any native vegetation. An onsite inspection will be undertaken by staff before approval is given and if there are any risks associated, you will be advised.
