21.01.2022 What a mess the 2007 Water Act and the Murray Darling Basin Plan has made. And those suffering and getting hurt the most are good decent hard working Aussie farmers and rural businesses who just want to put food on your table and clothes in your back. What a mess!

20.01.2022 Statue Name: 12 year old John Monash with Ned Kelly and his horse. What this project is about: To promote the local history event of when the bushranger Ned Kelly was doing business with Monash senior and gave 12 year old John Monash a shilling to hold his horse. Monash later became Australia's greatest military commander, as well as successfully defending the rights of local landholders to Billabong Creek water. It is to be positioned on the site of the previous RSL Hall ...and opposite the original Monash residence. It is good for tourism, being on the Newell Highway. It has appeal, providing an item of great interest, being the only known connection between two famous characters, John Monash and Ned Kelly. Like many country towns Jerilderie is struggling at present, due to adverse economic conditions and needs to create interest for people to stop. 06.01.2022 The Jerilderie Monash Committee need the communities help by voting to obtain a grant to erect a Bronze Statue of 12 year old John Monash with Ned Kelly and his Horse. How to Vote: Project will be published online at mycommunityproject.service.nsw.gov.au. You will be able to see projects across NSW, but you can only vote for projects in your electorate. Jerilderie is in Albury electorate. Each project is presented with an image, title and short summary. To vote, first add your favourite projects to your shortlist. Once you have shortlisted your projects-you can shortlist as many projects as you want, but you can only include between 3 and 5 projects in your vote. Your can only vote once and voting in done only line with a myservicensw account and medicare card number. Please vote number 1 for our project.
