23.01.2022 Everyone loves Playdough especially when it is purple and smells of lavender! Do you want to make some at home? Here is the recipe! Playdough Recipe! Ingredients:... 4 cups plain flour 2 cups salt 2 tablespoon cream of tartar 2 tablespoon vegetable oil 4 cups water Food colouring Essence (if you want it to smell) Method: 1. Mix all ingredients with a mixer until all ingredients are combined 2. Cook for 8 minutes in the microwave, stirring every 2 minutes 3. Be careful! It will be very hot therefore let it cool before using it! 4. Keep the playdough in a sealed container and in the fridge! Enjoy

To Develop their self help skills To develop their fine motor control Enhances hand/eye co-ordination They gain an understanding of maths concepts (measuring) Extends the children vocabulary (talking about names of foods, textures, quantities, equipment etc. And best of all .... they get to taste test the final product!!
