Beth Leske was a champion netballer representing the sport at various levels. ... * She was a former Illawarra Sports High School student and an Illawarra representative junior basketball player * In 2000 she competed in the national championships with the Illawarra under 14 girls basketball team representing NSW Country * She passed away in 2014 while playing netball for Fairy Meadow * Each year the club celebrates her life by presenting an award to the Most Valuable Team Member as voted by the Senior players * Contributions off and on the court should be considered when picking your most valuable team member Which member of your team puts in that extra bit each week?
