25.01.2022 Friends, you will be so encouraged as you read this beautiful testimony I received from Debbie in Tennessee, USA! Debbie writes: Emily, I just have to share a beautiful testimony with you because your teaching brought it all to light. ... When we go out of town I always have a lady named Lori water for me. It just so happened that last year when I was trying to arrange Lori coming to water for me that her daughter went into early labor and had a traumatic delivery. She almost delivered the baby in her car while driving to the hospital. When the baby was officially born in the ER he was in bad shape. Lori was calling me because she was driving to the hospital to be with them and to tell me she couldn't water. I told her what I'd been learning thru you, even sent your testimony about your daughter Virginia. I told her whatever the Drs say about her grandson to NOT accept it but to say He will live and not die, he is made in God’s image and in God there is no _______!! Well to make a very long story short, the baby lived thru everything they didn't believe he would but they had pronounced him permanently DEAF. I again told Lori to not accept this and speak Jesus said "My sheep hear my voice" He will hear the voice of the shepherd. He can hear ! Well Lori just came over to see me and I was able to ask her, How is your grandson doing? She broke into a huge smile and said "I can't believe I forgot to tell you, Debbie He can hear! He passed his last hearing test and has great hearing!!!" Emily, this family doesn't even really know what they are doing. They haven't been listening to years worth of teachings on speaking life for healing. They just did it and the baby can hear. Thank you for all you do. Without you I wouldn't have known how to help this family. He may have lived his little life with out hearing and that would have been tragic. Glory to God!!! God says we will have what we SAY. (Mark 11:24). We don’t need - as Debbie says - years worth of teachings on speaking life for healing. We have to simply change what we are saying about our situation and put GOD’S word in our mouth instead of words that agree with the circumstances, and the power and life contained in the Word will do the work - for WHOSOEVER will speak it! 21.01.2022 Wisdom is EASY to find! Proverbs 1:20-21 tells us, Wisdom cries aloud outside, she raises her voice in the open squares. She cries out in the chief marketplaces, at the opening of the gates of the city she speak her words... Other translations say, Wisdom shouts, she calls loudly, she raises her voice and tries to make herself heard... ... Why would wisdom have to make such an effort for people to hear her? Because wisdom is right there amongst all the other noise and commotion! Notice this passage says that she is crying aloud outside, in the marketplace, at the gates, in the busy streets... Wisdom is RIGHT THERE WHERE WE ARE! She’s at every corner and every intersection. Wisdom isn’t hiding FROM us, she is readily available and trying sincerely to be heard BY us! But in order to hear wisdom, we have to SHUT OUT all the other noise and turn our ears to hear her. The wisdom we need for our health, our relationship problem, our ministry, our business idea, which way to go and which to avoid, who to listen to and who not to, who’s preaching the truth and who’s spreading the lie...even who to VOTE FOR and who not to - is RIGHT BEFORE US, but we’re never going to hear it if we’re listening to all the other voices. Wisdom isn’t going to be found scrolling social media, feeding on the news, googling the problem, arguing doctrine, political persuasion or philosophy, listening to the experts or even trying to figure it all out ourselves. Wisdom ONLY comes from God and His Word. When we close our ears to all the other noise and distractions and turn our full attention to hearing directly from The One who knows all and sees all, Wisdom will tell us the exact right way to go the first time, every time. 13.01.2022 Have you ever noticed that when you look at your reflection in a mirror, your reflection does everything you do? When you smile, turn your head, or lift your hand, your reflection does the same thing. Why? Because your reflection is an exact image and representation of the real you. ... There are no differences - even slight. Your reflection cannot do anything you don’t do. Nothing is more accurate a representation of who you really are than your reflection. If we want to know the true and exact nature and character of God, all we have to do is look at Jesus. Colossians 1:15 tells us that Jesus is the IMAGE of the invisible God. That word image means an exact replication or a mirrored reflection. There are no differences or even slight variances - nothing is as accurate a representation of who God truly is than Jesus, who is His reflection. And what did Jesus do? Jesus NEVER put a disease or tragedy on anyone to punish them, teach them patience, or humble them. Jesus NEVER told anyone that their suffering was His will. Jesus NEVER turned anyone away. Jesus DID demonstrate love and compassion to ALL who came to Him. Jesus DID heal them ALL. (Matthew 4:23, 8:16, Luke 4:40) Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out devils, loved the unlovely, and forgave the people who betrayed and killed him. Jesus went about ONLY doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed of the DEVIL because any kind of oppression is DEMONIC and He came to DESTROY the works of the devil! (1 John 3:8, Acts 10:38) Jesus said, If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father. (John 14:9) Jesus is a reflection of the TRUE nature of God. = If we see God any other way, we either don’t understand covenant and the difference between law and grace, or we are not rightly dividing the Word of Truth. The ONLY way to truly know the character and will of God is to look at Jesus. And Jesus is found in the Word. = Don’t look at Job - look at Jesus Don’t look at Paul - look at Jesus Don’t look at someone you know or their experience - look at Jesus. Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE life. Nobody comes to (a true understanding of) the Father except through HIM! 13.01.2022 Even Downs Syndrome and every other genetic abnormality is covered by the blood of Jesus! Nicole Mitchell and her husband have been consistently speaking God’s Word over their son Andrew who was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome when Nicole was pregnant with Andrew. It’s been a journey of seeing many little miracles, but Nicole and her husband haven’t allowed what they see, hear or feel to move them. They continue to believe and stand on Psalm 103:3 which promises us that Jesu...s healed ALL disease - including birth and genetic defects, learning disabilities, and chromosomal abnormalities - and when God says all He means ALL! Andrew is now 6 years old and his facial features and behaviours are changing and all delays are leaving. His little body is coming into line with what Nicole and her husband are saying about him - and that what God says about him! Glory to God! Nicole has started a Facebook group under the direction of the Holy Spirit called Healed and Whole to encourage other families in similar situations with what the Word says. 13.01.2022 Are we choosing the only needed thing? Most of us are familiar with the story in Luke 10:38-42 when Jesus visits the home of Mary and Martha. Martha was distracted and busy running about trying to get everything prepared, meanwhile her sister Mary was simply sitting at Jesus’ feet, listening intently to what He was saying. ... This annoyed Martha, who complained to Jesus that Mary wasn’t helping her. Jesus lovingly pointed out to a Martha that she was CARE-FULL and TROUBLED about many things, but that only ONE THING was needful and that Mary had chosen it, and it would not be taken from her. We, too, can be full of care and troubled about many things. Full of care and troubled about our children, our health, our finances, our future, our relationships, our ministries, our jobs, about the events going on in the world - about LIFE! But Jesus tells there is a better way. Jesus says there is ONE THING that is needful (necessary) to us. And that is to sit at the feet of the Word. Why? Because in the Word is the wisdom for every situation, the seed for every need, the medicine for every sickness or disease, the peace for every storm and the solution to every problem. Let’s turn off the distractions and give our full attention to the one thing that’s needful and can’t be taken from us - the life-filled Word of God. 12.01.2022 About a year ago, my son Miles broke his arm at the skate park. Having dealt with broken bones before (being a mum AND a nurse), I knew what this meant - hours in the ED, a cast for weeks, and the inconvenience of not being able to swim, ride, or do the things a 7-year-old loves to do. And my first response was, NO! I’m not having this! I have authority over broken bones! ... So I grabbed my son, who was white with pain and cradling his broken arm, and we started speaking to it. We said, Bone, you are not allowed to be broken. You are whole and strong. Pain, GO, in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against Miles shall prosper. Arm, you are healed and whole in Jesus’ name! The thoughts were arguing with me the whole time: You’d better take him to the ED, look how much pain he’s in! You’re a nurse, you know what you need to do, you’re being irresponsible! His arm is broken! I answered them, NO! No weapon formed against Miles shall prosper! We continued to speak to the bone and the pain. About 15-20 minutes later, Miles’ face changed from being contorted in pain to a smile. Mummy, my arm’s better! It’s not hurting any more! And he ran off and jumped straight back in his scooter. His arm was healed! About three times throughout the rest of the day the pain tried to come back and talk us into thinking he wasn’t healed after all. We dealt with it the same way - NO! Pain, GO in Jesus’ name, bone, you are healed! until it left for good. Your body can HEAR YOU. Sickness, disease, abnormalities, deformities, mental illnesses - anything that isn’t functioning the way God created it to function - can HEAR US and will respond to our words. But we need to SPEAK TO IT - not speak to God about it, speak TO the thing itself. Jesus said if you have faith as a mustard seed (meaning it doesn’t matter how big or small you think your faith is) you WILL SAY (not could say - WILL say) to the mountain...and it WILL obey you! (Matthew 17:20) The mountain HAS TO obey you when you speak directly to it and tell it what to do. And this doesn’t require huge faith! The size of our faith is irrelevant - it’s what we do with it that counts! That’s GOOD NEWS! 10.01.2022 How many spirit-filled Christians have made decisions based on the best price, the open door, the golden opportunity, a person’s need, the most logical choice, or what makes the most sense naturally - only for it to turn out to be a disastrous decision? I have!! Proverbs 14:12 warns us that there is a way that SEEMS right to a man but in the end it leads to death (ruin, destruction). ... And what can SEEM like a perfect opportunity, a logical choice or an open door - something that even SEEMS like it’s from God - can actually lead to ruin and disaster because we didn’t wait to hear from the Holy Spirit FIRST and get clear direction from Him. As born-again believers, we have the Spirit of God living in us permanently. We have the ability to, and are expected to, hear directly from the Holy Spirit (who knows and sees all things both now and in the future!) and be led by Him at all times. God assures us that we - His sheep - DO hear His voice and we DO know Him and we DO follow Him - in fact, we know Him so well that we immediately recognise a stranger’s voice and RUN from it! (John 10:5, 27) We should never be led by convenience, opportunity, need, ego, price, or logic. We, like Jesus, are to always and ONLY be led by the Holy Spirit, who wants to give us direction and wisdom for EVERY decision and EVERY opportunity that presents itself. When we are led by the Spirit, we will ALWAYS be in the right place, at the right time, doing the right things, with the right people. We will make the right choices and decisions the first time, every time. That’s GOOD NEWS! 10.01.2022 In Genesis 1:28 God gave man the list of things he was responsible for in the newly-created earth, which included to SUBDUE it and have DOMINION over it. The word subdue means to bring under control, suppress, quieten and keep in check. The word dominion means to rule, dominate, reign over and tread upon. ... Why would God need us to subdue the earth and have dominion over it? Because He knew that sin was going to enter the world and a curse would be put on the earth because of it, and therefore things were going to get OUT OF ORDER. He knew that pandemics, civil unrest, weather disasters, economic crises, corruption, immorality and many other wicked things would try to wreak havoc in the earth. So as His children made in His image, God has authorised us to rule over it, dominate it, and tread it down. It is our responsibility to subdue it, bring it under control, suppress it, quieten it and keep it in check. But HOW do we do this? How did Jesus subdue the storm? By speaking to it. (Mark 4:39) We are to follow the example of Jesus and subdue and take dominion over the situation or storm through the words of our mouth - specifically, through GOD’S WORD in our mouth. We speak directly to the situation and tell it what to do. We speak directly to COVID-19 and say, In the name of Jesus you bow your knee.You are eradicated and exterminated - you are rooted out of this nation and cast into the sea! (Mark 11:23) We speak directly to the spirit of strife and division and say, In the name of Jesus, strife, division and unrest you bow your knee and flee! Peace and unity is restored in Jesus’ name! We speak directly to ANY situation in our own lives or our nation that is in contradiction to the Word of God and is seeking to steal, kill or destroy, and using the name of Jesus and the Word of God we exercise our dominion over it and subdue it! Instead of talking about, complaining about or worrying about the situation - let’s just speak directly to it and tell it what to do! 09.01.2022 When my daughter Virginia (born at 24 weeks) was in NICU fighting for her life, I was speaking the Word over her constantly. I had my list of scriptures and I would read and confess them over her every day, multiple times a day. Now, I am a faith person. I believe in the power of God’s Word. I was fully persuaded that the Word would do what God says it would do. ... But despite all my believing and confessing, Virginia deteriorated - to the point where she was teetering on the edge of life and death. After being given this terrible news by the doctor, I remember thinking, WHY ISN’T THIS WORKING? I was speaking the Word over her ALL THE TIME. Was the Word not working or was I missing it somewhere? So (thank God!) I did the only thing I knew to do - I asked God to, HELP ME!!!! And He did! He showed me where I was missing it. He showed me that even though I was speaking the Word over Virginia I was also talking about the problem - about her condition in the natural. The Word-seed I was sowing over her was being choked by the fear, doubt and unbelief-seeds and those words were causing the Word to be unfruitful. (Mark 4:19, James 3:11) The moment I shut my mouth and refused to say anything except what God said about Virginia, she started to improve and never looked back. My point is, when things aren’t working, when we’re doing all we know to do - standing and standing, believing and confessing - and we still aren’t seeing results, we need to HEAR FROM GOD! The Holy Spirit is our HELPER! He is right there, close by, wanting to show us what to do - but we need to ask Him to help us and then tune our ear to hear Him. And when we do - when we humble ourselves and ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom, He will show us EXACTLY what we need to do because He wants us to walk in victory more than we want to! God’s got it covered! ... God has given us the gift of the Holy Spirit and the ability to pray in tongues because the Spirit will help us in our weaknesses - and our weaknesses are that we don’t know how to pray as we should! (Romans 8:26) The Holy Spirit, who knows EXACTLY what needs to be prayed, makes intercession FOR us when we pray in tongues. Through our mouth the Holy Spirit inside us does the praying. The 100% perfect, flawless part of us is praying, therefore we are praying a 100% perfect, flawless prayer! We are praying secret truths, hidden things, mysteries, things that aren’t known by our natural minds. We are reaching into the mind of Christ that is in our spirits and drawing out the answer to every problem and the solution to every situation. (1 Corinthians 2:16) We are releasing the dunamis power that’s in our spirit into those situations - dunamis literally being dynamite force, might, and the ability to get results! (Acts 1:8) And because our understanding is unfruitful (we have no knowledge of what we are praying) our soul (mind, will, and emotions) can’t mess it up with fear, doubt, or unbelief! (1 Corinthians 14:14) How good is that?! The best part is that when we pray in the Spirit and therefore pray the perfect prayer, we are promised that ALL THINGS will work together for OUR good! (Romans 8:28) Unexpected blessings and breakthrough that we had no natural knowledge of how to obtain will suddenly show up. Things will work out in our favour. Turnarounds will take place. And it will all be because we’ve been praying the perfect solution and perfect outcome through our Heavenly prayer language - the perfect prayer! That’s GOOD NEWS! I strongly encourage you to start adding quality time praying in the spirit to your daily prayer life. Do it while you’re in the shower, driving your car, or set aside time every morning. 03.01.2022 Are you a pet lover? When something happens to your pets is it the same as if it happened to one of your kids? When Rebecca got a bad report about her beloved family dog, it was devastating. But then, Rebecca got a revelation that she has authority over ANYTHING that tries to steal, kill or destroy in her family - including her pets! Read this encouraging testimony! ... Rebecca writes: On 30th July our beautiful 4 year old dog ‘Ollie’ suddenly found himself paralysed in the back legs. After rushing him to the animal hospital we soon learnt he had suffered a herniated disc and without surgery the prognosis for him making a recovery was less than 40%. We couldn’t afford the surgery and were faced with the decision of considering having him put to sleep, which was breaking our heart! We asked if we could bring him home and see how he goes and if it was apparent he was in pain we would talk about our options. As soon as we got him home we began to lay hands on him and pray over him. I contacted Emily to get some guidance on what I should be praying. She told me we have authority over ANYTHING that tries to steal, kill or destroy in our lives, including our pets. So I started to speak healing into his situation and declaring he would walk again. He was confined to bed rest and we started some gentle physio on him a week after his injury. That week he attempted to stand on his legs and started to drag himself around on his rear end. 4 weeks after his injury he was walking so much better and now 2 months on he is running around the garden and back to his playful self. I am so thankful we took the less than 40 % chance. What was almost impossible to man was more than possible with God! (The photo is of Ollie enjoying his first trip to the beach since his injury ) ...... Glory to God! We don’t have to tolerate anything trying to steal from us, our family, or even our pets - for one split second! But the key is BELIEVING we have authority and ACTING on that authority! Speak to the symptoms/diagnosis/problem and command it to go. Don’t be moved by what you see, hear, or feel. Keep reminding the problem that it cannot stay - it HAS TO GO! 03.01.2022 In your house you have electricity, right? The electric company has already supplied all the power you could ever need to our house. So if you want to watch your TV, you don’t call the electric company to come and turn the TV on. Why? Because the power has already been supplied. It’s already yours to use. If you want to watch TV, you simply have to plug the TV in and flip the switch. ... Many people are praying, asking God to please pour out His spirit, send more power, fill us with his presence, touch our hearts, send revival, heal, restore and refresh. But do you know that God has ALREADY done all He can? He isn’t withholding anything from us! Let’s see what the Word says... His divine power has (already!) given us EVERYTHING that pertains to both life and godliness! (2 Peter 1:3) He did not spare his own son for us, and along with Jesus He has (already!) freely given us ALL other things! (Romans 8:32) He has (already!) made ALL grace abound toward us so that in ALL things and at ALL times we have ALL that we need! (2 Corinthians 9:8) His grace that brings salvation (sozo = physical healing, deliverance, peace) has (already!) been made available for ALL men! (Titus 2:11) The Holy Spirit has (already!) been poured out on ALL flesh! (Acts 2:17) We have (already!) been given authority over ALL the power of the enemy that tries to steal, kill and destroy! 01.01.2022 Good news! It is possible to have total peace in the middle of any and every crisis - and to be completely free from fear, anxiety, worry! But how? God promises us that He’ll keep us in perfect PEACE when we keep our mind stayed on HIM. (Isaiah 26:3) ... This doesn’t mean sitting around thinking about a great white being on a throne in Heaven: To keep our mind stayed on Him is to keep our mind stayed on God’s Word - because God and His Word are one. (John 1:1) It means meditating on, speaking, and listening to His Word all the time. It means praising God for His love, goodness and grace toward us all day. Instead of thinking about and talking the symptoms in our body, it’s thinking about and speaking the Word - By His stripes I am HEALED. (1 Peter 2:24) Instead of thinking about and talking about pandemics or the state of the world, it’s thinking about and speaking the Word - No evil befalls me and no plague comes near me! (Psalm 91:10) Instead of thinking about and talking about What am I going to do, how am I going to do it, I don’t know what to do about it.., it’s thinking about and speaking the Word - I cast ALL my care onto you Lord, thank you that you do the caring FOR me and you have perfected EVERYTHING that concerns me. (1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 138:8) Peace has nothing to do with our circumstances, and everything to do with what we’re allowing ourselves to think about. Instead of filling our eyes, ears and mouth with the news, opinions, statistics, social media, doctors’ reports, or our own negative words all day long, we need to fill them with God’s Word. And when we do this, we will have PERFECT PEACE because our mind is stayed on Him - on the WORD. = Let’s constantly check our peace. If we aren’t in peace it’s because our mind is on the problem/s. Let’s deliberately take it off the problem/s and put it firmly back on the Word. When we do this, not only we will have perfect peace, the Word we are thinking on and speaking will go to work FOR us!
