25.01.2022 As of Thursday all patients are expected to follow the guidelines set and wear their face masks to their dentist appointment. Clearly this needs to be removed when you are in the dental chair to receive your treatment. All patients are to continue to arrive to their appointment on time and call us from the car park. You will then be asked to remain in your car until a staff member waves you into the building. We also have a NO APPOINTMENT NO WALK IN POLICY!!! If you or anyone in your household is suffering from any cold or Flu like symptoms you will be asked to rebook your appointment for a least 2 weeks. The role is part time 32 hours per week (averaged over a two week roster) which includes working till 8pm on a Thursday evening once per fortnight and Sat AM also once per fortnight. About the role -Your role is primarily chair side assistance to our 4 dentists. -affecting changeover and cleaning the surgery between patients. -the processing and sterilization of equipment. -restocking of materials. -assisting in routine cleaning and maintenance of operatories and equipment. - familiarity with reception duties and Oasis software would be an advantage. 20.01.2022 RESTRICTIONS LIGHTEN EVEN MORE IN DENTAL. So how’s your smile? Are you ready for the outside world? We are now able to see all procedures once again. We will be increasing to 2 dentists on any given weekday between 9:00-5:00pm. We will still have some restrictions in place that we will walk you through when you make your appointment or when we confirm the day before. We do ask that anyone displaying any cold or flu like symptoms to cancel their scheduled appointment and re...-book should this occur. Whilst restrictions ease we do need to be very careful still. We will also only have 3 people seated in the waiting room at one time with the potential for another to be at the desk with one of our receptionists, however, you may choose to remain in your car upon arrival and call us when you arrive. We are now trying to reach those patients that we have cancelled in our lockdown/emergency services phase to rebook sooner. 18.01.2022 Hello to all our amazing patients. As of next week, commencing the 30th March, we, as staff, will be separated into 2 teams. This is a safety precaution that ensures that if one of the teams experiences a potential exposure to Covid 19 we still have another team to support your dental needs. We are heavily screening patients at this stage to the highest level for everyone’s safety. We will only be available for services 4 days a week with Saturdays TBA. Dr Roland Faktor an...d Dr Ariel Zhang will be working with their team on Monday’s and Thursday’s. Dr Christopher Harris and Dr Uyen Tran will be working with their team on Tuesday’s and Friday’s. We will only be open 8:30am-5:30pm Please be patient with us as we have had many changes for both your and our safety in these hard times. Also as of Monday coming we will be asking all patients to report to reception via a phone call (where possible) upon arrival to the car park. 18.01.2022 Hi everyone . Recently we have noticed a few of our patients struggling with the everyday disposable mask . It’s not that simple, trust us, we all had a lesson the first time we had to put one on. Please remember to try your best to not touch the fabric part of the mask whilst wearing. Once you have adjusted the nose wire to feel comfortable that should be the last time you need to touch it besides removing for disposal. The lovely Mary, one of our trusted team members, will give you all a quick demonstration on how to put a mask on .

16.01.2022 ***UPDATE *** In response to the Covid-19 outbreak North Ringwood Dental Clinic has been forced to close its doors to all non-essential dental services. We have been calling all our patients currently booked until the 1st July to cancel their appointments. This has come as a directive from the Australian Dental Association. We will, however, be operating as an emergency clinic for current patients of our clinic, Monday to Friday only, until the restrictions imposed on us ...lightened. If you have tested positive for Covid-19 or suffered and/or showing signs of rapid fever or flu like symptoms we are unable to see you and you will need to contact Monash Medical Centre or the Royal Melbourne Hospital. If you are suffering from a genuine dental emergency please call the clinic and leave a message explaining the concern on our answering service. These messages are checked twice daily Monday - Friday. We have 2 teams running the emergency clinic to ensure that there is always someone to help out our patients, should they warrant an emergency appointment. 06.01.2022 To all our patients, at this stage we remain open. We are strongly guided by the Australian Dental Association as to precautions and changes to keep our patients and staff safe. We have removed chairs in the waiting room for safe distancing and have removed all objects in the waiting room. We have regular disinfecting controls which we are universally using. Of course we do expect that everyday brings new changes but reassure yourselves that we are keeping on top of every enforced change. We thank you all for your support and as a healthcare service know we are needed to keep you all safe.
