24.01.2022 After the club meeting a few members did a run up to the Mt Helena Tavern for lunch.
24.01.2022 About a dozen cars congregated at Centre Point Midland around 4.00pm in preparation for the New Year Cruise. This year Vice President Dean, mapped out a route that had us heading for Mundaring to start with and then part way we cut across to Kalamunda. We continued through to the Bookton Highway and then back down the hill into Armadale. Out through Bickley to Pinjarra and then to our ultimate destination at the Ravenswood Hotel. Our usual spot, outside the pub and overloo...king the river was available, so we all settled there. Again we helped Gemma celebrate her Dad's birthday, seems to be becoming a tradition of our New Years Cruise. After a couple of cold beers and a good feed the crowd started to disperse, making our own way home.
20.01.2022 First lunch run post Covid 19. Short run from the club to the Gin Gin hotel for a pub lunch. Weather was perfect for the run.

19.01.2022 Farewell, until 2019. The last day of the 17th Falcon GT Nationals was a cruise out to Bailup to the Ford Museum for brunch. From there many headed home, others went back to the motel for a final night before loading cars onto transporters for the trip home.
17.01.2022 The meeting place was Krispy Kreme Donuts in Hillarys where members enjoyed a coffee, donut and a chat before cruising via the coast to Ravenswood. Dinner by the river at the Ravenswood Tavern was enjoyed by all, along with a cold beer.
17.01.2022 Well what a great day it was on Sunday to celebrate 40 years since the Falcon GT Club of WA was formed. The run to Toodyay for morning tea, then on to Cunderdin for lunch, and finally a stop at Meckering, certainly shows that we have come a long way. What I liked was the umbrella which was given to us at our Meckering stop, but particularly the sharp quality of the print of the 40 anniversary logo. It looks great. Good job by the committee and who ever else was involved with ...this, and of course for organising the whole day. For those currently paid up members that didn't go on the run, your umbrella will be available at meetings to pick up. Let's see your faces! Alternatively if you can't make it, please contact Marlene Zupanov, and for $20 postage, it can be sent off to you. And as a PS, if we make it to a 50th, I'd like to suggest a walking stick. :) The Club are always on the lookout for new members, so if you have a GT old or modern, then we welcome you to one of our meeting or runs to take a look.

10.01.2022 Saturday November 23 a group of 30 plus Mustang Owners Club members and Falcon GT Club members met up at the Kingsway Shopping Centre Carpark before heading across to the Galaxy Drive In Cinema. Once there deck chairs were out along with picnic tables and an array of nibbles and cold beverages. There was plenty of time for catching up and a meal before the movie started as we entered the Drive In at a little after 5.30pm and the first movie was not scheduled to start until 7....30pm. By the time the main movie, Ford vs Ferrari was due to start there was a good crowd at the cinema and the weather was very pleasant, with many people opting to stay on their deck chairs to enjoy the movie. The movie itself was very enjoyable so this topped of a great night out. Ford vs Ferrari finished at 10.00pm and Need for Speed was scheduled to start around 10.15pm however, most people decided to call it a night after the first movie. A great night out and much better value that going to watch the same movie at the walk ins. Another night at the Drive Ins is likely in the not too distant future.

05.01.2022 Easter 2021. Due to the 2021 Falcon GT Nationals being postponed, some club members have requested an event over this Easter break. A rally around various parts of WA has been suggested, which will include Kalgoorlie, Esperance, Albany, Augusta, York, and then back to Perth. Leaving on the Thursday before Easter and returning on the Tuesday. Interested people need to register their interest on the GT club App, or let the committee know by the December meeting.
