16.01.2022 So I had a customer bring over his laptop unfortunately I did not realise that his number was private on my mobile so I have not attained his mobile number if that kind could please get in contact with me as I have no way of contacting you directly I feel a bit silly for not getting the phone number but then it's the other side of it to normally I get the number off the mobile that calls me but unfortunately the number in this case was private as for the laptop I have done so...me basic diagnostics at this point taken the ram and hard drive out to see if the system reboot and left one of the ram sticks in there to see the system would be correctly and no it did not this is pointing me to a more severe motherboard issue from what I can tell point there is not much I can do with the laptop I'm going to say that it's going to probably be a write-off in total regardless the only thing that the client has to pay is my small diagnostic fee for the time spent on the machine but I need to get in contact with him first. 15.01.2022 So just finished up a clients PC seems theres an issue with multiple boot records causing conflict and not booting from the correct Drive had to adjust the BI...OS and disabled somethings but now it is working correctly and booting to Windows will be contacting the client tomorrow as hes currently down the coast and will be back next Tuesday feeling fairly accomplished and productive at this point in time and good about myself good to see another job complete.
